Bobcat• Bobcats are 28-50 inches
long.• 2-2 1/2 feet high.• 5 inch tail.• They weigh up to 30
pounds but the average weight is 15-22 pounds.
• The bobcat is a mammal.
Habitat and Food• Habitat• Bobcats favors rockey
brushsides on which to live and hunt.
• They Hibernate.• Live in mountains and
even desert areas where water can be found.
• Mostly roam areas of the western U.S as well as wesern Canada.
• Food• Bobcats eat alot of
different animals and rodents here are some of the things bobcats eat.
• Jack rabbits, cotton tails, birds and snakes.
• Bobcats also eat other rodents.
• Bobcats can even take down a deer.
Family and Protection• Family• Bobcats live alone.• Bobcats do not lay eggs
they have live younge.• The female bobcat
reproduces early Spring and somtimes late Winter.
• The female bobcat often has 2-3 kittens.
• Protection• In order to protect its self
the bobcat uses its claws and teeth.
• It does not use any other defences other then claws and teeth.
• The enimies of the bobcat is mainy the coyote.
• Bobcats fear coyotes.

Grey Fox• They weigh 7-11 pounds• They are gray, rusty red
and have a black mane.• They can run as fast as
28 miles per hour.• It does neither, it does
not hibernate or migrate.
Habitat and Food
• Habitat• Live in all four Arizona
deserts, southwest and beyond.
• They live in chaparrals, wooden areas, and among boulders on the slopes of rocky ridges.
• They do not migrate or hibernate.
• They live in southwest parts of North America.
• Food• Gray foxes eat alot of
animals.• Here is a list of some,
insects, birds, acorns, berries and grass.
• It does not store food.• They get thire food by
hunting then once found captureing it.
Family and Protection
• Family• Live alone.• They are monogamous.• Have live young.• Produce February or
March, bearing young in May or April.
• Takes about 51-53 days to produce.
• Have 3-7 pups at a time.
• Protection• They use camuflage to
blend into trees.• They will use its claws
and razer sharp teeth when/if under attack or just run.
• The enimies are the Lynx, bobcats, and coyotes.

Mountain Lion• Male bobcat is 6-7 feet
long and the female bobcat is 5-7 feet long.
• Males weigh about 110-180 pounds while the females weigh about 80-130 pounds.
• Largest cat in the Sonoran desert.
Habitat and Food• Habitat• They live in mountains,
forests, swamps and deserts.
• Two most important habitat elements are finding cover for proction and for stalking, and living near a large prey base.
• Does not migrate or hibernate.
• Food• Mountain lions diet
consist of deer, javeline, big horn sheep, jack rabbits, porcupines, squirrles and many more small animals.
• Get thire food by killing their prey, then once dead, eating ikt for a nice meal.
• It does not store food it eats it right away.
Family and Protection
• Family• Live alone.• The female mountain lion
produces in Spring and has live young.
• The female mountain lion can have up to 6 cubs at a time, but the avarage amount is 2-4.
• They breed about 2-3 years of age.
• Protection• Mountain lions do not
have any proctions like oder or camouflage, but they do have razer sharp claws and teeth.
• When attacked, the mountain lion will fight back.
• The main enimies of the mountion lion is man.
