In the aftermath of the global financial crisis, the risk

management function independent from the manager

emerged. With this context in mind, Arnaud

Vinciguerra decided to come to market with a

technology-first approach. In 2013, Domos FS

emerged as a FundTech dedicated to Alternative

Investment Funds.

Based both in Paris and Luxembourg, Domos FS provides alternative fundmanagers with a complete solution to deal with their assets. Combining financial & technology intelligence As Domos FS celebrates its sixth year in business, it is increasing itsinvestments. As such, it is now moving to a scale-up phase due to a robustbusiness model and ability to innovate. The fundtech business model, whichcombines financial and technological intelligence, meets a specific need inthe unlisted alternative investment fund market. By automating the back and middle office processes of these funds, thesolution covers the entire value chain of portfolio management, fromtransaction to risk, compliance, reporting and data analysis. In Luxembourg, 5% of all the reports sent to the regulator (CSSF) in 2018originated from DOMOS.

DOMOS : SEVEN MODULES

Domos FS, as a Software-as-a-Service pure playcompany, has developed its self-titled web solution. DOMOS automates the back and middle-office needs offunds and is aimed at Alternative Funds investing in non-listed funds, including Private Equity, Real Estate,Infrastructure and Debt.

LEGAL REPORTING

The Legal Reporting module is designedto generate and send automaticallyregulatory reports to the authorities(CSSF, AMF, FCA, BAFIN, BCL, ACD...),to ease their production monitoring andvalidation.

RISK

The Risk module is designed to turn on theRisk Management Process, perform stresstests, and run pre-deal risk analyses onthe flow while complying with the legalframework.

PORTFOLIOS

The portfolio dedicated module provides acentralised, collaborative database thatfacilitates the standardisation ofAlternative Investments data. Thanks toan integrated state-of-the-art documentmanagement technology, managers canstore all documents in the same place.

DASHBOARDS & REPORTING SUITE

DOMOS Dashboards & reporting suitemodule helps to perform data analytics,automate complex reports, including risk,investors, compliance, industry specific,e.g. SDDS, or produce board packs.Managers can also visualise data andcompare them with market trends, havereal-time access to customiseddashboards to investors or boardmembers, design businessreports and automate their production.

COMPLIANCE

DOMOS Compliance module simplifies thecompliance function by providinginnovative and intuitive tools. It allowsCompliance Officers not only to monitorongoing activities, together withmandatory documents, but also tomanage the evolution of the level ofcompliance coverage and to assess it inreal-time.

INVESTMENTS

DOMOS Investments module is designedto implement investments processes,monitor and control pipe while managing checklists. It also allows to manage theinvestment lifecycle, from the creation ofholding companies to the sale of theassets through the management ofdistribution (dividends, rents...).

LIMITED PARTNERS

The Limited Partners module provides anoverview of the different funds’ shares,Limited Partners and their transactionhistory within the fund. Managers canmanage the waterfall, set up rates, e.g.carried interests, hurdle, catch-up, etc.

CEO

Normalien, serial entrepreneur and tech savvy, ArnaudVinciguerra founded Domos FS in 2013 and acts as a CEO. Before that, Arnaud had quite a few miles on the clocks. In1985, he founded Sophis with his brother. Soon after, thecompany became one of the French software leaders byrevolutionising the market of front to back solutions fortraders. About twenty-five years later, the company wasbought out by Misys, which later became Finastra – theworld’s third-largest fintech company.

CHIEF TECHNOLOGYOFFICER

A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and a TelecomParisTech engineer, Philippe Jovenin has been the CTO ofDOMOS FS since its start.  After eight years spent in R&D at Sophis with ArnaudVinciguerra, he followed him to launch DOMOS FS.

Fanny Metz is a computer science and finance engineerand former support manager at Misys. At Domos FS, FannyMetz is a Client Services Manager. Since 2014, she has been in charge of regulatory watch,project implementation and follow-up, as well as supportand maintenance.

SALESEXECUTIVE

A former consultant with Big Four PwC, specialising in theAIFM Directive and alternative issues, Benoît Moulin is aSales Executive at Domos FS. He is in charge of the sales side of the business fromLuxembourg and aims to extend his scope of action to themain European financial centres.
