DescriptionDAVCO K10 SOVACRYL PH is a liquid waterproofingmembrane for roofs and facades. Applied in a thick layer, thepaint forms a waterproof, flexible film which adapts to thesurface changes caused by tension or expansion.

DAVCO K10 SOVACRYL PH is designed as a 5 - layer fabricreinforced waterproofing system for positive waterproofingof concrete roofs.

How To Use

General • The surface must be sound and free from irregularities, sharp projections, loose particles, oil, grease, coating, moss, mold and any foreign matter. Roofs should have sufficient cleaving to avoid ponding on the finished membrane surface.• Any voids or potholes in the substrate must be approximately filled up with a high – strength mortar.• The entire area must be cleaned to remove dust and dirt. Allow the surface to dry thoroughly.

Surface Preparation:

For vertical application and old concretes, use DAVCO K10ACRYLIC PRIMER.

Priming:

Body coat / top coat: stir the product well prior to use.

Product preparation:

Application:• Spread DAVCO K10 SOVACRYL PH onto the substrate using a roller, brush, steel trowel or spray.• Apply in a thin continuous layer over the area to be waterproofed.• Allow 1-2 hours in between coats (depending on thickness and atmospheric conditions)• Minimum thickness for roof deck: 2mm wet film (with reinforcement) of applied product.• Tools and excess DAVCO K10 SOVACRYL PH can be cleaned with water while it is still wet.

Precautions• Temperature range for use: 10°C to 35°C• Do not add sand to DAVCO K10 SOVACRYL PH.• DAVCO K10 SOVACRYL PH is not recommended for use in areas of water immersion such as pools, spas, etc.• Do not use where negative hydrostatic pressure is evident.• Surfaces must not allow water to stagnate or form a pond.• Do not apply in full sunlight or on hot substrates.• Do not apply in damp or freezing conditions.
