Constellis K9s are best-in-breed and are trained and taken care of by an experienced instructor staff with global, proven expertise. We conduct the majority of our training at ACADEMI, a Constellis company and the largest private training center in the United States. The Moyock, NC-based, 4,000-acre, state-of-the-art training facility boasts a range of realistic training environments and facilities that replicate land-, sea-, and air-based K9 detection operations. ACADEMI also provides kennels and outdoor dog enclosures. With a full mission support service offering and a global network of partners, Constellis also offers flexible, large or small-scale deployment operations.

OUR TRAINING

We attribute the success of our K9 program to the ongoing, attentive and comprehensive care we take with our dogs. Beginning with our innovative dog-handler matching system, each K9 is afforded the utmost attention to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Furthermore, we offer an adoption program for retired working K9s so each dog can continue to live in a safe and loving home.

Radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology tracks the movement of our K9s in order to maintain all training, safety and veterinary requirements while our automated records management system allows our trainers to completely focus on their K9s both domestically and abroad.
