Application of the needle safety devicesfrom KABE LABORTECHNIK

The safety cannula The „butterfly“ safety cannula

The safety mechanism can be activated with an easy

one-hand technique e.g. with the thumb or the forefin-

ger of the blood taking person or with the aid of a stable

and solid surface. Press the needle guard gently over the

cannula till it is snapped audible into the shield. A spe-

cial safety mechanism ensures a permanent locking of

the cannula within the safety guard. Afterwards the used

safety device should be disposed of into a disposal box

according to the valid regulations and guidelines.

The needle guard can easily be pushed over the cannula

till it is completely locked. An audible „click“ indicates that

the safety mechanism is fully activated. Now the cannu-

la is locked irreversible within the shield. Afterwards the

box according to the valid regulations and guidelines.
