Most kitchen sinks either drop into a hole in the countertop or are mounted from underneath the countertop. An apron front, or farm, sink slides into an opening or gap in a countertop and is supported by the cabinet and internal cradle frame work (not provided by CliqStudios.com) directly underneath the sink.

A large porcelain or cast iron apron front sink can weigh 300 lb. or more when filled with water. The parts listed below provide only partial support. The installer will need to provide additional cradle framework to support apron front. Apron front sinks vary greatly in size, style and dimensions that require a custom field installation. Be sure to consult your installer before determining the final installation. Every apron front sink installation is unique because there are no such thing as a ‘standard’ size apron front, or farm, sink.

Inside Quarter Round is more than a decorative accent. It is installed after the flooring and is primarily used to cover the gapping resulting from shims to level cabinets. Quarter Round can also help cover up gaps in the floor - especially with tile.

FILLERSFillers are used to “fill” the gap between a wall and the end run of cabinets, and sometimes between cabinets. Fillers can also be used horizontally for decorative molding applications. Field install and trim to width/height.Note: Fillers also are used to provide space between cabinet and wall for proper door swing operation to provide cabinet access, especially with decorative hardware and roll out trays

BTK8 Plywood veneer w/ engineered core Bold line represents finished edgeBase ‘Toe Kick’ is used as a panel to cover up the gapping created by the placement of cabinets. It is applied to the recessed area where the cabinet meets the floor.

SM8, or Scribe molding,is used along the wall when cabinets/fillers meet a non-plumbwall to hide gapping between thecabinet and the wall.

Wood is a product of nature with different grain patterns, color variations, aging patterns, and mineral streaks which add to the beauty and distinction of natural hardwood products. These wood variations are not considered a defect and will not be subject to warranty replacement. Painted Cabinets may require additional maintenance. Over time, painted finishes will develop hairline cracks from the results of natural expansion and contraction of the wood. Visit our website for more information on finish characteristics

Do not begin demolition of space or existing cabinetry prior to receipt and inspection of your new cabinets, as missing or damaged parts may delay your installation. Any install delays, trip charges, contractor fees, etc. due to pre-scheduling your installer are your responsibility. CliqStudios.com is not liable for these costs, and has recommended against installation prior to inspection and receipt of all original and replacement orders.
