    Organization, TVKWO, will be

holding their annual Home Tour on

May 5, 2013, from noon until 5pm. Thisyear, we have four spectacular yet uniquely

different homes on the tour. Special events

are also planned this year. Chef Michael,

formerly of EATS Caf, and his wife Lisa will

not only have their home on the tour, but

Chef Michael will be cooking tapas in his

outdoor kitchen. For an additional cost, you

will be invited to taste the chefs creations.

Michael Janke moved to East Tennessee

in 1998 after a distinguished culinary

career. He was trained in Germany and

served as executive chef at the Hyatt

    Regency Corporation. Immediately prior

    to relocating, Michael was Executive

Chef at the Palm Steak House in Atlanta,

    Georgia. TheJanke Homes most

unique attribute is that it was the first

building permit to be issued in the

    Kahite neighborhood. Michael and Lisa

were drawn to their property by its

unique location on both the lake and

golf course. The couple was mindful

in creating an open atmosphere for

entertaining guests and family, as can

be seen in their open kitchen and dining

room. The eclectic, modern dcor within

the home creates an exquisite atmosphere

among the works from local artisans.

Lisa was born and raised in Monroe

County. Lisa and Michael have two

    children and enjoy entertaining family

and friends in their Kahite home.

At the GREENES home, Tom will

have his vintage cars and motorcycles on

display. Tom currently has two toy cars.Tom sold his 1966 Shelby GT350 race car,

which he vintage raced for 24 years, and

then downsized by purchasing the Cobra.

The Cobra is a Superformance, constructed

in 1995 at the Cobra factory and sold

    through Bob Bondurants facility in

Arizona. There are very few people in the

world who have as much experience in aCobra as Bob Bondurant. The other toy

car is his 2008 Shelby GT500 convertible.

The engine in this car makes 650 or 750

    rear-wheel horsepower depending on

    which supercharger pulley is installed.

They purchased this car as a reward

because Tom spent nearly all of 2007

in Germany on a consulting job

to launch a new transmission. Also on dis-

play is Phylliss 2005 Thunderbird, which

they ordered because it was both theanniversary car and the last Thunderbird

to be built. While you tour the Greenes

home, you are invited to enjoy light

refreshments on their expansive patio. You

may even find some Mexican specialty

desserts. TVKWO will be selling their note

cards, especially designed for the organiza-

    tion by artist Steve Curran.

The basement at the Jankes home is every mans dream come true, with a bar, pool table and plush leather furniture.

Martys management career brought theHULETTS to Knoxville in 1989. Because the

Huletts are huge boating enthusiasts, Tellico Village was a perfect match for them. This is thethird Tellico Village home built by Deb and Marty Hulett and the first in Kahite. Now on the

17th green, they are enjoying the view of the mountains from their deck with a view, which

includes an outdoor fireplace. Deb noted, Kahite has been a great move for us; the people

are very friendly, and watching the golfers approaching the 17th green is simply irresistible.

The Huletts are highlighting 10 pencil artworks of Brint Martin, signed and all numbered

3/500. The artist specialized in the unique primitive structures of barns, homes and churches

    of Cades Cove.
