Mark Making, Tone & Shape

• Mark Making…… Listen to the instruments being played and produce 9 different Mark Making techniques to represent each sound and label them. Remember to fill the boxes, repeat and overlap

the marks. You can use different pencil pressures. DO NOT draw shapes or symbols.

• Tonal Scale…… Using the side of your pencils. You are to produce and tonal scale from dark to light. Remember to fill the box

completely.

• Shape and Form….. Looking at the resource sheets copy the shapes, and then give them shape and form using mark making or tone. Remember to draw lightly.

He used to listen to his music while he painted.
