Kaplan pathway course: Foundation Certificate in Science and EngineeringDegree: BEng Mechanical Engineering

My first impressions of KIC London were great. The staff are all very welcoming and the facilities are excellent. The College organises many activities for students. Within my first few weeks, I had already been involved in a photoshoot for Kaplan, played football with my new friends, and visited Birmingham.

London is a very interesting city. It has a lot of history blended with modernism, and the people are very open-minded. I enjoyed exploring different areas, walking along the River Thames and discovering new places to eat – London is the world in one city! I am looking forward to experiencing more of British culture at the University of Birmingham.

I chose to study BEng Mechanical Engineering as it is what makes the world move – literally! Ever since a kid, I have found it interesting to understand movement and how things work.

Then I realised I could learn how to make stuff!

Studying in the UK will open your mind and help you to embrace new skills for life. Kaplan helped me to improve my English and learn more about other cultures.

I would like my classmates to remember me as someone with their mind on the future and ready to engage in new adventures.
