machine, you can run play
free .kar, .mid, and .midi
karaoke song files with the
free "PyKaraoke" software
program in a Linux
computer.

and a great pleasure to use

"Ubuntu" distro of
"GNU/Linux", you can get

with the "Ubuntu Software
Center" program.

install
"PyKaraoke".
Then you have to install
"Timidity".
Finally, you have to install either

free karaoke software program
that only runs in the "Gnome"
desktop environment.
The current 12.10 version of
Ubuntu has the "Unity" desktop
environment.
