Patil Institute of Cooperation and Banking) Diploma in Urban Cooperative Banking Management (DUCBM) Course Objective The course Diploma in Urban Cooperative Banking Management has been designed for capacity building, to build professional competence and enhance skill sets for better performance in day to day banking activities. The training modules has been designed in such a way that the trainee at the end of program will be fully adept with theoretical knowledge of various facets of cooperative banking operations. Further in accordance with the Karnataka Cooperative Societies Rules 1960,( Amendment) Rules 2017, on successful completion of the program, the candidate will be eligible to be considered for promotion. Governing Council A committee has been constituted for the overall supervision and management of the diploma program. The governing council, chaired by the president, KSCUBF and will consist of resource persons specialized in Urban Cooperative Banking Sector. The Governing council will be empowered to take decisions on conducting of training program including perpetration of syllabus, examination paper and evaluation Pattern of course study The course is offered on an online and offline model and the registrants will be provided with access to Online Training software, through which the course will be delivered. The hardcopy of the course ware will be provided to registrants In order to make the reading more effective, the content for each module is split into smaller components for easy understanding and comprehension. Further an exclusive feature has been developed for making self assessments. The trainees, on an ongoing basis take self assessment tests in order to evaluate their understanding about the subject Eligibility All Employees of Urban Cooperative Banks in Karnataka Course Duration The course will be held for 3 Months. The Entire course has been split into four papers consisting of several modules. Final Examination will be

conducted for four following papers and each paper will carry 100 marks. The study material will be provided to

registered candidates in hard copy as well as through the online learning portal.
