and we intend to establish relations with Siberian Federal University in promoting
interstate cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan. We have become convinced

Karshi State University began its activity as the branch of Bukhara
cooperation pedagogy and teachers' institution in Karshi in
September 1, 1945 and in October 27, 1949 it was changed into two-
year-institution of teachers training, in August, 1956 into Karshi
State Pedagogy Institution. From February 28th , 1992 it got a high
rank as Karshi State University. It is rich in the ancient tradition of
the southern region of Uzbekistan
