SHECHITA•Shechita is slaughtering the animal. •The slaughtering must be done with a squared knife called a “Chalaf.”•Not everyone can slaughter an animal. It has to be done by a special rabbi.•The slaughtering is done in a pacific way in order not to course any pain to the animal.

BEDICHA•Bedicha is searching the animal.•If the animal has any flaws it is NOT permitted kosher.•To check if the lungs has any holes in it you must blow into is and as it will be all pumped up you can clearly see the hole.•Even if the flaw is tiny it will make a huge difference to your soul. No matter what it is.

Bedicha .

MELICHA •Melicha is salting and washing the animal.•Blood is NOT permitted kosher in any books. So we wash it away.•First, you salt it.•Then, you wash it.•Next, you salt it again to get rid of any remaining blood.•Finally, you wash it again to get rid of the salt.•As well as making the animal kosher it also makes the animal clean which is a bonus.

Melicha .
