“Kasparas Uinskas has all the ingredients of a great pianist and musician…in his New York recital debut, offered much evidence of the talent that has
garnered his impressive start on an international career…” “New York Concert Review“
This review appeared after Kasparas Uinskas debut recital at Carnegie Hall. Uinskas also made a highly successful series of debut recitals at the world’s most famous concert halls, including Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, Wigmore Hall in London, Berlin Philharmonie, Madrid Auditorio Nacional and others. His international appearances were highly praised by music critics and audiences.
Following his Berlin debut, the reviewer wrote: “…The debut recital of Lithuanian pianist Kasparas Uinskas was far from another usual piano recital at the rich Berlin’s music scenery… even though it was Uinskas’ debut recital in Berlin, this pianist is far from the beginning point of his artistic journey…there is nothing left to wish for in his technique, and his interpretations overcome all limits…” (Klassik in Berlin).
Last season Mr. Uinskas had solo, chamber music appea-rances and concerts with orchestras at concert halls in the UK - Londono Wigmore Hall, Spain - Madrid Audito-rio Nacional; Auditorio Fun-dacion Caixa Galicia A Coru-na, Poland - Krakow Philhar-monic, Turkey – Akbank Arts Center, Italy, Hungary, Por-
tuguese and Lithuania as well as performed with world famous conductors Eri Klas, Saulius Sondeckis, Pawel Przytocki and conductor Juo-zas Domarkas.
His upcoming engagements in the next season include concerts in Lithuania, Spain, the UK, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Brazil, among others.

Mr. Uinskas also regularly performs chamber music and plays with orchestras.
He is frequent guest at many international music festivals throughout Europe and the USA, including the Aspen Music Festival (USA), the Music Festival of the Hamp-tons (USA), the South Shore Music (USA), Holland Music Sessions and others. At the one of the most prestigious venues in Europe – Verbier Music
Festival in Switzerland Mr. Uinskas was granted Reuter’s Grand Prix and with the invitation to perform solo recital there next year.
His repertoire includes works by a wide range of composers, from Johann Sebastian Bach to 20th Century composers, but Frédéric Chopin holds special significance. Recent releases include Uinskas' debut CD of his Chopin recital and the DVD of his live concert at the Berlin Philharmonie.
Pianist also performs music by Lithuanian composers. In 2005 Mr. Uinskas with other Lithuanian musicians joined the project in which he recorded two pieces of Lithuanian composer Vladas Jakubėnas. For his debut series Mr. Uinskas among other world composers included works of Lithuanian composer Balys Dvarionas. After his concerts critics wrote: “Three selections from “Winter Sketches” by fellow countryman, Balys Dvarionas (1904-1972), were given the most personal and inspired renditions of the evening. Uinskas brought out the pure childlike energy of these works, along with a harmonic richness reminiscent of Medtner and Tchaikovsky.” (“New York Concert Review”)
Mr. Uinskas is a frequent guest on the Lithuanian Radio and TV programs. He was also featured on the David Dubal’s Reflections from the Keyboard on the WQXR, the classical music radio station of The New York Times.
