TEAK

Da sempre considerato un legno nobile e di grande pregio. Contiene una resina

oleosa naturale che lo rende estremamente resistente alle intemperie e

comunque all'assorbimento dell'acqua, sia dolce che salata. Ha un'alta

resistenza agli acidi, ai prodotti chimici, ai funghi ed all'attacco da parte degli

insetti.

Per la sua durezza, è destinato a durare nel tempo. Grazie a queste sue

caratteristiche di durabilità e resistenza, risulta essere un legno eccellente per

le applicazioni in ambienti esterni.

Con il tempo sulla superficie si forma una patina color argento. Con

l'applicazione dell'olio il Teak risulterà perfettamente protetto e ravvivato nel

colore. L'olio per Teak può essere usato su legno grezzo come unico protettivo e

su legno già trattato come prodotto per la manutenzione.

Manutenzione:

Teak has always been considered a noble wood of great value. It contains a

natural oily resin that makes it extremely resistant to weathering and water

absorption, both fresh and salt water. It is highly resistant to acids, chemicals,

fungi and insects.

As a result of its hardness, is destined to last over time. Thanks to its durability

and resistance, it is an excellent wood for use outdoors.

A silver-coloured film forms on the surface over time. By applying oil, the Teak

is protected perfectly and its colour is revived. Teak oil can be used on raw wood

to protect it or on previously treated wood to maintain it.

ROVERE

Latifoglia europea di notevole resistenza, sia meccanica che riguardo agli

attacchi di muffe e batteri, che anche all’invecchiamento. Di colore giallo con

alcune venature più scure, si presenta con un inconfondibile aspetto a “poro

aperto”.

Il legno della pianta di rovere ha buone caratteristiche di durezza e di resistenza

alle intemperie. Questo legno, viene utilizzato per la costruzione dei mobili di

pregio da un lunghissimo periodo. Inoltre, pregiato fin dall'antichità, viene

usato per costruzioni navali, marittime e per strutture portanti.

L’applicazione periodica dell’impregnante protettivo contribuisce a pulire e

lucidare il legno aiutando inoltre a respingere sia l’acqua che l’umidità

preservandone l’originale bellezza.

Manutenzione:

A European hardwood of notable strength, not only mechanically, but also with

respect to its mould and bacteria resistance, and even with regard to aging. It is

yellow in colour with darker veining, showing unmistakable “open pore”

features. The wood of the oak tree has wonderful characteristics: it is hard and

weather resistant. The wood has been used for the construction of fine furniture

for a long time. In addition, considered precious since antique times, it was

used for shipbuilding, maritime and support structures.

Periodic application of a protective sealant helps to clean and polish the wood,

while also helping to prevent the wood from absorbing both water and moisture

in order to maintain its original beauty.

LEGNO LACCATO

Tutte le parti laccate sono realizzate in mogano, albero tropicale delle foreste

africane ed americane, è un legno particolarmente duro e resistente ai

parassiti. Possiede un’elevata compattezza e indeformabilità grazie alla

successiva verniciatura con apposite vernici per esterno risulta inoltre

impermeabile e resistente agli agenti atmosferici.

Pulire con acqua e sapone neutro, risciacquare con acqua pulita ed infine

asciugare con un panno morbido asciutto. Sono comunque sempre da evitare

prodotti abrasivi che possono lasciare graffi e detergenti contenenti acidi.

Manutenzione:

All the painted parts are made of mahogany, a tropical tree from the forests of

Africa and America, with a wood that is especially hard and resistant to wood

pests. It is highly compact and very warp resistant thanks to layers of the

appropriate outdoor paint, which also makes it waterproof and weather

resistant.

Clean with mild soap and water, rinse with clean water and then dry with a soft

dry cloth. Always avoid abrasive products that can leave scratches and cleaners

containing acids.

ACCIAIO INOX

L’acciaio inoxè il materiale chevieneutilizzato per le strutture dei nostri arredi.

L’acciaio inox è caratterizzato dalla forte presenza di nichel e soprattutto di cromo,

tra l’11 e il 30%: questo impedisce al materiale di arrugginire e di corrodersi se

sottoposto all’esposizione continua di acqua e aria; il cromo infatti, ossidandosi

con l’ossigeno, si trasforma, dando vita all’ossido di cromo. Quest’ultimo aderisce

all’oggetto realizzato in acciaio inox, impedendo che si formi ulteriore ossidazione

e quindi il tipico aspetto della ruggine. Questo processo è conosciuto come

passivazione e in pratica fornisce una pellicola protettiva al materiale. Appare

ovvio che la resistenza a ossidazione e corrosione è fondamentale in ambienti

come l’esterno dove è frequente e necessario il contatto delle superfici con l’acqua.

Posto che la principale caratteristica dell’acciaio inox è l’inossidabilità, questo

materiale presenta anche altre caratteristiche, che lo rendono particolarmente

adatto all’impiego nel settore dell’arredamento, infatti l’acciaio inox risulta essere

robusto, meccanicamente solido, resistente nel tempo, oltre che igienico e di facile

manutenzione.

Per mantenere invariate le caratteristiche estetiche dell’acciaio inossidabile è

sufficiente lavare con acqua e sapone neutro, risciacquare con acqua pulita ed infine

asciugare con un panno morbido asciutto. Sono comunque sempre da evitare

prodottiabrasivi chepossono lasciaregraffi edetergenti contenenti cloruri.

Manutenzione:

Stainless steel is used to create the frames of our furniture. Stainless steel with a

high content of nickel and chromium in particular, between 11 and 30%, is

employed. This stops the metal from rusting and corroding if subjected to

continuous exposure to water and air. In fact, chromium, oxidized with oxygen is

transformed, creating chromium oxide. The latter adheres to the object made of

stainless steel, preventing further oxidation and thus rust from forming. This

process is known as passivation and in practice provides a film that protects the

metal. It seems obvious that resistance to oxidation and corrosion is fundamental

for objects placed outside, where surfaces are frequently and necessarily wet with

water. Although the main characteristic of stainless steel is its stainlessness, this

material also has other characteristics that make it particularly suitable for use in

the furniture industry. In fact, stainless steel is robust, mechanically strong,

durable, aswell as hygienic andeasy tomaintain.

To maintain the aesthetic characteristics of stainless steel, simply wash with

water and mild soap, rinse with clean water and then dry with a soft dry cloth.

Abrasive products that may leave scratches and detergents containing

chlorides should not be used.

Maintenance:

PIETRA SERENA

Pietra arenaria di colore grigio azzurrognolo chiaro a grana media.

Completamente priva di cavità e micro fessurazioni a causa degli interstizi fra i

granuli occupati dalla componente cristallina fine e dal cemento carbonatico.

Inconfondibile per la sua caratteristica di finezza della grana, viene definita una

pietra pesante, compatta, poco porosa e non geliva caratteristiche che la

rendono molto indicata per l'uso esterno.

Possiede un'alta resistenza all'usura del tempo e la levigatura inoltre, esalta in

modo notevole il suo colore.

La pietra va trattata per impedire la penetrazione di acqua, oli, grassi e dello

sporco e non permettere la formazione di macchie, muffe, aloni ed

efflorescenze saline sulla superficie. Gli impregnanti assolvono bene questa

funzione protettiva. Lavare con acqua e sapone neutro e risciacquare

immediatamente. Non usare per la pulizia prodotti come candeggina,

ammoniaca, alcool o comunque prodotti sgrassanti.

Manutenzione:

A light bluish-grey medium grain sandstone. It is completely free of cracks and

micro cavities, as the spaces between the granules are filled with the fine

crystalline component and carbonate cement. With its unmistakable

characteristic fine grain, this stone is described as a heavy, compact, slightly

porous that does not freeze, making it ideal for outdoor use.

It is highly resistant to wear over time, while smoothing it significantly

enhances its colour.

The stone should be treated to prevent water, oil, grease and dirt from

penetrating it and to prevent stains, moulds, marks from forming on its

surface, as well as to prevent efflorescence. Sealants effectively protect the

stone. Wash with mild soap and water and rinse immediately. Do not use

products such as bleach, ammonia, alcohol or other degreasing products for

cleaning.

VETRO

Il vetro utilizzato è quello temperato, ottenuto da una normale lastra float

riscaldata ad alta temperatura fino al rammollimento della struttura. Estratta

dal forno, viene bruscamente raffreddata con getti di aria fredda ad alta

pressione che però producono l’irrigidimento solo della superficie esterna,

mentre l’interno si raffredda solo lentamente.

In questo modo si ottiene un vetro con forti tensioni interne, perché

raffreddandosi, l’interno mette in compressione la superficie esterna,

caratterizzato da grande resistenza alla flessione ed allo shock termico. Si deve

sottolineare che, quando un vetro temperato si rompe, le forze di tensione e di

compressione provocano istantaneamente delle crepe in tutte le direzioni,

cosicché il vetro si frantuma in tante piccole schegge non taglienti, invece di

rompersi in pochi pezzi appuntiti e molto più pericolosi, come nel caso di un

vetro normale.

Spruzzare il vetro con una miscela fatta con (3⁄4) di acqua tiepida e (1⁄4) di

ammoniaca, o in alternativa utilizzare i prodotti per vetro comunemente in

commercio, asciugare quindi con panno asciutto e morbido. Sono da evitare

prodotti abrasivi che possono lasciare graffi.

Manutenzione:

Hardened glass, obtained from a normal float sheet heated to high

temperatures until its structure is softened, is employed. Upon being extracted

from the oven, the glass is quickly cooled with jets of cold air at high pressures

that harden the outer surface only, while the inner surface is left to cool slowly.

In this way, a glass with strong internal tensions is obtained, as while it cools,

the inner surface compresses the outer surface, characterised by high flexural

strength and resistance to thermal shock.

It should be emphasised that, when hardened glass breaks, the tension and

compression forces instantly cause cracks to form all directions, so that the

glass shatters into many small blunt fragments, instead of breaking into a few

sharp and much more dangerous pieces, as in the case of normal glass.

Spray the glass with a mixture made with warm water (3⁄4) and ammonia (1⁄4)

or alternatively use commercially available products for glass, then wipe with a

dry soft cloth. Abrasive products that may leave scratches should not be used.

Maintenance:

SUNBRELLA®

I tessuti Sunbrella sono concepiti per essere utilizzati sia in ambienti interni

che esterni. La qualità del tessuto Sunbrella permette di lavarlo senza che

perda il suo colore, anche utilizzando uno smacchiatore o della candeggina

opportunamente diluita.

Il trattamento specifico applicato permette alla tela di non assorbire facilmente

i liquidi, restando permeabile all’aria.

Per una durata ottimale del tessuto e per conservare il suo bell’aspetto, si

raccomanda di seguire le istruzioni di manutenzione che seguono. Spazzolare

regolarmente la tela a secco con una spazzola morbida per evitare il deposito di

polvere, o di corpi grassi.

Il lavaggio a macchina è efficace ad una temperatura massima di 40°, senza

prelavaggio e senza centrifuga rapida. Effettuare l’asciugatura all’aria aperta. Il

tessuto non si ritira e non perde i suoi colori. Il suo trattamento anti-macchia

resta efficace anche dopo numerosi lavaggi. In seguito si perde, in tal caso è

necessario utilizzare un impermeabilizzante del tipo 303, per consentire al

tessuto di mantenere la sua impermeabilità.

Per qualsiasi macchia come crema solare o d’origine alimentare, uno

smacchiatore tessile può essere utilizzato seguendo le istruzioni indicate sul

flacone del fabbricante.

Maintenance:

Sunbrella fabrics are designed for use both indoors and outdoors. Thanks to

the quality of Sunbrella fabrics, cloths can be washed without their colour

fading, even using a stain remover or appropriately diluted bleach. Cloths are

specifically treated in order to prevent liquids from being absorbed easily, while

remaining permeable to air.

In order for fabric to last and to preserve its beauty, the following instructions

for maintenance should be followed. Regularly brush the dry cloth with a soft

brush to prevent dust or fat residues from accumulating.

The fabric should be washed in a washing machine at a maximum temperature

of 40°, without pre-washing or fast spinning. Leave the fabric outside to dry.

The fabric will not shrink and colours will not fade. The anti-stain treatment will

remain effective even after numerous washes. Once the treatment is no longer

effective, a type 303 waterproofing substance should be used in order to

maintain the fabric's impermeability.

Any sunscreen or food stains should be removed using a fabric stain remover,

following the manufacturer's instructions on the bottle.

Batyline è un tessuto sintetico indeformabile con struttura in vinile. Offre

un'eccellente resistenza alle muffe, è trattato contro i raggi UV e resiste a

temperature esterne anche estreme (-30°C +70°C). Mantiene totalmente

inalterati i colori e assolutamente intatta la propria composizione. E'

Manutenzione:

Batyline is a synthetic non-deformable fabric with vinyl structure. It offers

excellent resistance to moulds, is treated against UV rays and even resists

extreme temperatures (-30°C, +70°C). Colours remain completely unchanged

and its composition remains perfectly intact. It is breathable. It is completely

waterproof and rot-proof. It is very resistant to pressure and tearing. All of

these features make it unique and ideal for any outdoor use and ensure the

quality and constant duration over the years. It is 100% recyclable, which

thanks to a special process, reduces its negative impact on the environment by

50%.

Simply wash with soap and water. No further maintenance is required.
