Zakady Elektrotechniki Motoryzacyjnej Sp. z o.o., recognized under an abbreviation ZEM Sp. z o.o. in Duszniki Zdrj is present on the market since February 01, 2002 as the continuator of good tradition of the state owned firm that used to act on the market as followed: - from 1945 to 1957 as state enterprise under the name Dolnolskie Zakady Metalowe; - from 1957 to 1995 as state enterprise under the name Zakady Elektrotechniki Motoryzacyjnej; - in year 1995 the firm was turned to a private one and was known as POL-MOT ZEM S.A.; - in year 1997 the firm was acquired by Ford Motor Co., as a result of internal reorganization the independent consortium Visteon was established and our firm took over the name Visteon ZEM S.A. Duszniki Zdrj. Then, after two years of activity, due to Visteon headquarters decision, Visteon ZEM S.A. was set into liquidation in July 2001. What was left after liquidation, was acquired in January 2002, by newly established company ZEM Sp z o.o. The utmost important assets of our company are experience and knowledge of employees and the management staff that guarantee the entire fulfillment of requirements and expectations brought by our Customers. ZEM Sp z o.o. is specialized in manufacturing DC motors of fractional power for various applications, for instance, automotive front and rear wiper units, radiator and heater fans and non automotive application such as linear actuators, feeders of wire for welding machines.
