Katherine Barkman is an American ballerina currently residing in the Philippines as principal dancer for Ballet Manila — one of the most distinguished classical ballet companies in Asia under the directorship of prima ballerina Lisa Macuja-Elizalde.

Barkman is the youngest dancer to assume this position in the company, known for its strict adherence to the Vaganova technique.

As a student, she underwent extensive private training with US-based Russian teacher, Nadia Pavlenko, a graduate of the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in St. Petersburg.
