Clean or replace the appliance filter. Clogged filters impair performance of the unit and makes them work more. This causes the need for more energy to run the appliance and also it affects the life expectancy of the product.

Maintaining the unit appliance helps to maintain the unit’s effectiveness. This means that they can work requiring the least amount of energy input possible.

Periodically inspect the unit. Replace or refill fluids, lubrication or

alignment in order to increase useful life.

Select the right size for the appliance. Consider the required output that is needed for the house. An appliance too big for household necessities will result in a waste of energy.

Using the maximum load capacity of an appliance reduces the frequency in which an appliance is used.
