GIL LEBOIS PHOTOGRAPHYSeptember 5-29As a relative newcomer to Central Illinois, French pho-tographer Gil Lebois brings a fresh perspective to our landscape and subjects that surround us in the Midwest. While he spent most of his career as a photographer for commercial projects and journalism, he now focuses on his portrait and fine art work. With a keen eye for lighting effects, he often incorporates flashes and strobes to achieve his results. He credits much of his inspiration to the techniques used by American photographers. Gil will speak briefly about his photography at 6 pm on September 5.
