Project Integrator ServicesFrom our previous experiences working with analytical labs, environmental consultants, and environmental engineering companies, we noticed the latent need for a "Project Integrator," someone to act as a point person for the client in coordinating all the different support functions for a project. The goal of a Project Integrator is the timely and cost-effective mobilization of equipment, supplies, training and support services to make your environmental project a success. A Project Integrator's role may include the following:

Woody publishes his first online training course, RCRA Hazardous Waste Management for Generators. Allyson, Lorri, and two others form Environmental Connections to bring an integrated approach to environmental sampling and analyses.

Environmental Connections continues to expand into international markets. Woody creates Eduwhere to host online courses, and works with North Carolina State University to create and market online continuing education courses.

Woody joins Allyson, Lorri and the Environmental Connections team as a partner. Environmental Connections connections continues to grow, both nationally and internationally, by word of mouth and the rapidly expanding internet. Environmental Connections decides to pursue Venture Capital in order to rapidly expand our business model.

Environmental Connections raises a total of $19.6 million (USD) during the first half of the year. We change our name to Blue292 and watch the money get spent during the second half of the year.

Allyson, Lorri, and Woody leave Blue292 and found KeikaVentures in September 2001. Eduwhere is integrated into Keika as we offer our clients a three-pronged solution of environmental equipment, analytical services, and online compliance training.

Linda, affectionately known as our Chief Instructional Officer, creates Shipping Infectious Substances and continues expanding the number of environmental and transportation courses offered online.

Keika continues to expand into new markets, adding both international and domestic clients. European sales soar.

Eduwhere courses receive warm welcome in Asia as we develop collaborative partnerships with government environmental institutes.

Every year sees new records set for revenue and growth, but we remain committed to providing the best customer service on earth including overcoming logistics challenges in getting an oversized CEM trailer from Baltimore to an Andean country without navigating the Pan American Highway.

John & Woody migrate Eduwhere to an open source software environment. We redevelop the entire site, move to a new server, transition historical data to a new database, add a plethora of new features... and we got a new logo! When we weren’t sitting around admiring the new site and registrations, we were managing the analytical portion of a very large remediation project in Puerto Rico.

Keika & Eduwhere have clients in over 70 countries on all continents except Antarctica. We continue to experience rapid growth.

We don’t have a laboratory so our scope of analytical services is essentially limitless.  We find the laboratory that best fits your project requirements:

requirements Bottom line, we work for YOU. We have a group of qualified laboratory partners who can handle most of the analytical requests we receive. However, we also have a network of specialty laboratories that do non-routine, non-production types of analyses. Each project gets the same attention whether it’s one sample or 100.

We take care of the project details so you don’t have to. We arrange for shipment of any sampling media prior to project start, track the samples to the laboratory, follow the progress through the lab, resolve any issues that might arise with the sample analyses, check the final results to make sure your requirements were met, and provide a brief summary of the analytical results.

You won’t find a separate line item charge on your invoice for our Analytical Project Management services. Our services are built into the analytical sample costs. Because of the high volume of analytical work done through Keika Ventures and our partners, you might find these same analyses costing you more if you went directly to the laboratory. The true savings though, can be measured in your time and effort not having to conduct any research, coordinate sample media arrivals, discuss, and micro-manage a project to its completion. We take care of all that for you.
