Biography
Keko Yoma was born in 2004.
From its beginning, tha band has had the opportunity of playing in different bars, clubs, pubs, theaters and many social events, getting recognition in Chile, specially in Santiago and Val-paraiso. In 2008 they brought out their first LP, called “El más weon de los caminos… el disco”, with the partici-pation of the chilean producer Andrés Godoy.
Nowadays, Keko Yoma is working on a new Project, that is supose to be ready during the first semester of 2010. They have already recorded a few songs in Holland and Spain, during the last tour over there.
Within these five years of musical career, Keko Yoma has participated in hundreds of concerts (Vive Latino, Landjuweel Festival in Amsterdam, Freigeist Festival in Berlin, etc.), 4 international tours (Europe 2006, Argentina 2007, Europe 2008 and Europe 2009). They also have two video clips “El Desatinao”(2005) and “Mi vida se fue por el W.C.”(2006) which is part of the eleventh disc of “Escuelas de Rock” (Schools of Rock), plus their debut album “El más weon de los caminos… el disco”.
9 countries, 25 cities, more than 10.000 km, where little clubs, streets and festivals have had the chance to witness the sound and choreographies of this band. Always getting a great response from the audience and from the media, national and International.
Keko Yoma, currently working on their second album, describe themselves as a self-managed band, with a promising future in their country. They want to show all over the world a piece of the chilean popular music.

Casa de locos con cable a tierra suabo
Neu-Ulm. La locura tiene un nombre: Keko Yoma. Bajo este nom-bre una joven banda chilena propaga su derecho a hacer locuras. La Flussmeisterei en Neu-Ulm se convirtió en una casa de locos musicalmente hablando. El público lo encontró tremendo. Vistiendo batas blancas de centros siquiátricos tomaron por asalto el esce-nario, contagiando al público con la consigna „Dance and fly“. Por el „cable a tierra“ que según dicen los dichos es carcacterístico de los suabos, lo de volar se hizo difícil, pero después de un par de canciones de Keko Yoma ya no había quién resistiera: delante del escenario el público se movió al son de una sucesión de estilos musicales: a veces rock, a veces raggae, después cumbia y samba. Hasta Thriller de Michael Jackson fue „latinizado“.
El cantante con cola de vaca brinca por el escenario, como si estuvi-era conectado a un cable de alta tensión, se disfraza a una velocidad sorprendente, suda, canta, salta al público, reúne a los asistentes de-trás suyo como el flautista de Hamelin: un rey entre los animadores. Y nadie se pregunta si este derviche chileno tiene que estar dopado, porque a pesar del alto rendimiento físico, Keko Yoma hace música perfecta. La banda combina rock, punk y ska con un sinfín de in-strumentos de la patria chilena y le encanta tomarle el pelo a éxitos musicales de nivel mundial.Desde el 2004, los chilenos van de continente en continente con sus tours, haciéndose los locos con el público. La Flussmeisterei fue el lugar perfecto para desfogarse en esta cálida tarde veraniega. Un su-abo se sorprendía y alegraba a la vez: „Tanta diversión por tan poca plata“,
