Kelly Fritchman 2nd Annual 5K runTRANSCRIPT
The family of Kelly J. Fritchman,
is very honored to establish an
endowed scholarship for a member
of the University of Delaware
swimming team in Kelly’s memory.
Kelly was 32 when she passed away
from cystic fibrosis.
She swam competitively for UD’s
swim team for four years, and to this day, she has
been the only swimmer on the team that endured and
overcame the challenges presented to her by cystic
fibrosis. Through this scholarship, we hope Kelly’s
spirit will continue to encourage others, knowing that
nothing is impossible.
Pre-Registration pre entry by Wednesday, July 13th
Race Time: Saturday, July 16, 2011 - 8:15 am (registration opens at 7:15 am).
Kiddie K starts at 7:50 a.m. and is 1/10 of a mile from the 3 mile mark to the finish line
Location: Irish Eyes Pub and restaurant: 213 Anglers Road, Lewes, DEE
Benefits: The Kelly J. Fritchman Swimming Scholarship at the University of Delaware
Course: New USATF certified by Doug White. Fast, flat, scenic. Start & finish at Irish Eyes.
Race Day Amenities: T-shirts and post-race party featuring beer and refreshments. Party Time!

In memory of Kelly J. Fritchman, who lost her battle to complications from cystic fibrosis at the young age of 32. A devoted athlete known for her courage and determination, Kelly swam competitively for the University of Delaware.
In consideration of this entry being accepted, I, intending to be legally bound, hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators,waive and release any and all rights I may have against the organization holding this event, its agents, representatives, successorsand assigns for any and all injuries suffered by me at said race.
NO REFUNDS–THE RACE DIRECTOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY ENTRY

Please discourage unofficial entrants (bandits) from competingin our races. Bandits consume scarce resources and candelay or inhibit accurate race results. Unregistered runners,running with dogs, strollers, rollerblades, bicycles and thewearing of headphones are prohibited on the race course atany time to ensure runners’ safety and to comply with liabilityinsurance standards.
