Position Description

This is an entry-level position and would suit a recent graduate of an Indonesia n un ive rsi ty . Th e PA reports direct ly to

the Jakarta Program Coordinator (JPC) and LPP Program Officer (LPP PO). Dut ies to be performed by t he LPP PA inc lude,

but are not limited to:

i. Assisting in establishing new Host Organisation (HO) placements for the 2019 LPP program;

ii. Assisting in maintaining relationships with previous Host Orga nisat ions;

iii. Carrying out a series of monitoring visits to Host Organ isations throughout t he entire LPP program;

iv. Act ively mentoring all students on matters pe rtaining to the ir work and study and t heir general understa nding of Indonesia and the legal sector, and adv isi ng on appropria te workp lace conduct in Indonesia;

v. Assist ing the LPP PO in managing the LPP; vi. Serving as a liaison with Atma Jaya University, Host Organ isations and ma inta ining sou nd relationsh ips wit h key

partners at these institutions; vii . Counselling students on matters of adjustment to Indonesian life, including attent ion to physical adjustme nt,

Indonesian norms of behaviour and expectations regard ing dress and workplace behaviour du ring th eir programs;

viii. Assisting the LPP PO to develop program-specific Monitoring and Evaluat ion (M&E) processes for ACICIS' Indonesian Law programs;

ix. Conducting end of program evaluation sessions with participants and offeri ng th is information as feedback in to the ongoing development and improvement of ACICIS' LPP programs;

x. Ass isting students in rout ine and/ or emergency med ical or security procedures, and updat ing ACICIS' Risk

Management Gu idelines as requ ired; xi. Assist ing the LPP PO, JPC, and/ or Resident Director/ Deputy Res ident Director w ith other tas ks as requ ired.

Working Hours and Remuneration

i. The Law Profess ional Practicum Program Assistant will work between 1 May, 2018-:-30 April, 2019 on a ful l­time basis(40 hours/ 5 days per week). with the understandingthat t he schedu ling of program events means that the distribut ion of hours over the period of a wee k may be f lex ible. Sta ndard wo rk hours are 9am-Spm , Monday to Friday, with a one hour lunch break. Occa siona l out-of-hours' wo rk will be required du ring orientation sessions and extra-curricular activ it ies, and w ill be compensated t hrough leave in lieu ;

ii . The. role will be remunerated at a competit ive rate, comme[1surate w it h t he app lica nt's skills and experience.

iii. Professional level of Engl ish proficiency, and a willingness to develop this further as a part of t he ro le;

iv. Computer literacy in using the Microsoft Office suite, social media app licat ions; and Photoshop/ lnDesign

(desirable);

Position Description

This is an entry-level position and would suit a recent graduate of an lndonesi_~n university. The PA re ports directly to

the Jakarta Program Coordinator (JPC) and CADPP Program Officer (CADPP PO). Dut ies to be performed by the CADPP

PA include, but are not limited to :

i. Assisting in establishing new Host Organisation (HO) placements for the 1019 CADPP program; ii. Assisting in maintaining relationships with previous Host Organ isations;

iii. Carrying out a series of monitoring visits to Host Organisat ions t hroughout the entire BPP program;

iv. Actively mentoring all students on matters pertaining to their work and study and their genera l unde rsta ndin g

of Indonesia and the creative arts and design secto r, and advis iilg on appropri ate •·.;crkpla ce conduct in

Indonesia; v. Assisting the CADPP PO in managing the CADPP; vi. Serving as a liaison with Atma Jaya University, Host Organ isations and maintaining sound relationships with key

partners at these institutions;

vii . Counselling students on matters of adjustment to Indones ian life, in cluding attention to physica l adjustment, Indonesian norms of behaviour and expectations regarding dress and workplace behaviour during their

programs; viii. Assisting the CADPP PO to develop program-specific Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) processes for ACICIS'

Indonesian Creative Arts and Design programs; ix. Conducting end of program evaluation sessions with participants and offering th is information as feedback into

the ongoing development and improvement of ACICIS' CADPP programs; x. Assisting students in routine and/ or emergency medical or security procedures, and updating ACICIS' Risk

Management Guidel ines as requ ired; xi . Assisting the CADPP PO, JPC, and/ or Resident Director/ Deputy Resident Director with other tasks as required.

Working Hours and Remuneration

i. The Creative Arts and Design Professional Practicum Program Assistant will work between 1 May, 2018-30 April, 2019 on a full-time basis (40 hours/5 days per wee k), w ith t he understand ing that the schedu ling of program events means that the distribution of hours over the period of a week may be flexible. Standard work hours are 9am-Spm, Monday to Friday, with a one hour lunch break. Occasional out-of-hours' wo rk w ill be

Selection Criteria:

i. Bachelo(s Degree (enrolled or completed) f rpm an lndon~s i an un lvers(ty w ith a so unci academic record in

Creative Arts a.nd Design or a related field (eg. Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Arts Ma nageme nt , Gra ,Jh ic Design,

Digital Design, etc);

ii. At ieast one year of professional expe rience in a relevant posi tion (eg. adm inistratio n, communicat ion, pub lic

relations, international organisation, etc);

iii. Professional level of English proficiency, and a willingness to deve lop this furt her as a part of t he rol e;

iv. Computer literacy in using the Microsoft Office suite, soc ial med ia applications; and Photoshop/ lnDesign

(desirable);

v. Excellent time management ski ll s and the ability to prio rit ise a range of competing tasks;

vi. Demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills and a w il lingness to learn about new cu ltures;

vii. A team-p layer with a pleasant personality who can work we ll in f lex ible worki ng env ironme nts.
