During the month of October we will be conducting a seasonal food talk about the foods of Autumn, taking a culinary journey thru Germany, enjoying a Mashed Potato bar and celebrating National Cupcake Day! Culinary Quote of the Month” Life is like an onion and one cries while peeling it. “French Proverb” We will be serving in the dining room a full turkey dinner on Monday October 12 th . If you are planning on having dinner with your loved ones please purchase you tickets in advance at the front office. This should be complete and everyone in their permanent locations by July 2016! I’d like to Thank all staff and families for making the move as smooth a transition as possible. Just a reminder, our LTC entrance is located on the North side of the building at the back. Please look for the signs located off the Huron entrance for guidance. Our team welcomes any suggestions of comments to help make this phase of construction as easy as possible for our residents, families and staff members. The solarium is getting a makeover and we look forward to more windows and a brighter space once completed. We want to extend warm wishes to you and your Family for a wonderful Thanksgiving. Hello from the Enviro Department! Well sad to say the summer is ending and Welcome to Fall! A reminder about those pesky pests, if you see any please let the staff know so we can get rid of them for you. Long Term Care side, with regards to new clothing, please bring to the nursing station so the items go through the proper procedure for labeling. This will ensure no lost clothing. Nursing Department

We have finally completed the move to 2nd floor. Thank you to all the families for you patience and cooperation during this process. Entry to the Nursing Home is only at the back of the building. We will be installing more signage to assist in directing visitors to the home. A reminder that the flu season is quickly approaching. We will be asking for consent to vaccinate residents and encourage families to get their flu shots.
