Sustained Technical Assistance = Improved Quality of Care

• Survey of 3,300 physicians in 600 practices in NY

• Results indicated EHRs alone did not impact quality

• Practices needed ample time and high levels of technical assistance to start bolstering quality

• The KY-REC team is prepared to offer comprehensive consulting and technical solutions designed to help providers optimize EHR and meet Stage 1 and 2 Meaningful Use requirements.– Meaningful Use – Privacy and Security– PCMH – EHR Optimization

• These services are part of KY-REC’s long-range strategy to continue to assist providers optimize EHR as we transitions from federal grant funding to self-sustainability by January 1, 2014
