Description: Across the country, it’s almost hoops season again. In our world these days, the gymnasium never takes a rest. It’s a great time of year to be planning your wood floor care treatments, and how you are going to manage the demand for your floors. In field houses and arenas everywhere, the screeching of Nikes, the thud of the dribble, or the explosion of the spike over a volleyball net – the sounds of the season – are special. After all, making the hardwood gleam as loudly as the sounds echoing through the gymnasium has been the pride of many schools for many years. It doesn’t come easy considering what the floors have to put up with. With players running, jumping, cutting and sliding on the court, it takes expertise – and science – to protect, clean and maintain the hardwood.
