    Meredith Laskey, Highlands: En-quirer Player of the Year. Brooke Warden, Dixie Heights:The sophomore won the Ninth Re-gion singles title and advanced tothe round of 16 in the state tourna-ment.DOUBLES

    Abby Herman/Lexi Herman,

    Highlands: Abby, a senior, andsister Lexi, a sophomore, won the10th Region doubles title for thesecond straight year and then ad-vanced to the semifinals of the statetournament, where they lost to theeventual championship team, 6-4,6-3.

    Abby Roebker/Bess Fley, Notre

    Dame: The seniors won the NinthRegion doubles title and advancedto the quarterfinals of the statetournament where they lost to theeventual runner-up team in a supertiebreaker, 10-8.

    SECOND TEAMSydney Hancock: The sophomorereached the semifinals of the NinthRegion singles tournament to earn aberth in the state tournament,where she lost in the first round.

    Sarah Hoffman, Highlands: Thesophomore reached the semifinalround of the 10th Region singlestournament to earn a berth in thestate tournament, where she ad-vanced to the second round.

    Audrey North, St. Henry: The soph-omore reached the semifinals of theNinth Region singles tournament toearn a berth in the state tourna-ment, where she advanced to thesecond round.DOUBLES
