What kind of organization / office promotes knowledge transfer on sustainability both locally and globally? How can the campus ‘hardware’ (built environment, open spaces, eco and transport systems and other infrastructures) be related within their specific interlinked sociocultural settings as the urban ‘software’ of a campus (urban public realm, academic and community life, social cohesion, lifestyles and behaviors, networks, atmosphere of openness, safety and mobility)? What kind of scalability strategies can best nurture the dynamic synergies needed to create sustainable centres of knowledge that can flexibly respond to the fast changing demands of society?
