This video follows convention as the editing matches the pace of the song; fast song means lots of editing.

The video starts with the text "no mythological creatures were harmed in the making of this video" which gives an insight into what should be expected to follow; comedy and mythological creatures.

There are characters with unicorn heads which is effective as it relates to the text at the start of the video. Also the unicorns are able to blink which makes them look more realistic.

Kesha acts sexually as she wants to appeal to men.

There is a lot of gun imagery throughout the video. This foreshadows what will happen later on (shoot off at the end).

The pause at the beginning and in the middle for dialogue is distracting from the song and unnecessary as nothing they say is needed for the story line to continue.

There is a lot of comedy within this video which makes it more entertaining for an audience. An example of the comedy is when the man removes his bra. This challenges traditional gender stereotypes. Kesha wins the rainbow shoot off against a man. This changes gender representation as it is the woman who is seen as powerful rather than the man.

The props and costume choices used within this video signify Kesha’s wealth and riches. The champagne that she drinks and the sparkles that she wears are luxurious. Even the golden undertones of colour contribute to this. Kesha wants to be seen as someone people would desire to be.
