Objective: Plan and develop a strategic data-base platform that is best-practices-based and scalable according to business needs

Activities:• Document tactical and strategic areas of improvement, based on current operating environment• Build out a Backup and Recovery, DR Strategy• Establish RTO and RPO guidelines• Maximize Oracle investment• Release management

Objective: Finalize migration/upgrade scope activities.

Activities:• Conduct POC’s as necessary• Install and configure new Engineered Systems platform• Identify areas of improvement with current DB andMW and process and update/upgrade based on Oracle best practices• Identify any interim fixes (tactical) and transition to steady state
