• The 4th generation Prius is safer than ever with a host of alerts and assist features found in the all-new Toyota Safety Sense™ P (TSS-P)1. Standard on Touring models and available on Prius Three and Prius Four.

• The all-new interior contains a multitude of advanced technology features for increased comfort and convenience. Available wireless mobile charging and an all-new JBL® audio system are just a couple of examples.

• Prius Two receives a Nickel-Metal Hydride Battery while the remaining 5 models receive a Lithium-Ion Battery.

2 . Defying Convention:

• Enhanced handling, stability, safety, and driving dynamics come via a new double wishbone rear suspension and lower center of gravity height.

3 . Anything but Expected:

• Continued class-leading fuel economy. EPA-estimated2 58/53/56 mpg (city/hwy/combined) for Prius Two Eco and 54/50/52 mpg for all other Prius models. Prius delivers the highest mileage of any vehicle without a plug-in on the road today.

• More cargo capacity3. Increases of 3-6 cubic feet, depending on the model. Cargo capacity is now 24.6 cubic feet on Prius models with a spare tire and 27.4 cubic feet on models receiving a tire repair kit.

Still Ahead of Its Time:

• Toyota Safety Sense™ P (TSS-P)1 includes safety technologies like Pre-Collision System (PCS)36 with Pedestrian Detection function4—which warns of potential collisions—and Lane Departure Alert LDA5, which warns the driver when the vehicle deviates from its lane. This feature is accompanied by a Steering Assist function, which helps the driver keep the vehicle in its lane.

• TSS-P1 also includes Automatic High Beams (AHB)6, which switch automatically between high and low beams to ensure excellent forward visibility during nighttime driving, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)7, which

makes long highway drives easier and less tiring by maintaining a distance with the vehicle ahead. Currently only available on the 2016 Prius is Full-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)7 which may enable low speed following, speed matching, stopping, and acceleration/deceleration to a preceding vehicle.

• Enhanced technology features on the all-new 2016 Prius also include available Intelligent Parking Assist (IPA)8 with Intelligent Clearance Sonar (ICS)9. This system offers automatic steering and parking guidance as well as helps prevent collisions with features like automatic braking.

When you insert your key into the ignition switch or bring a Smart Key fob into the vehicle, the key transmits an electronic code to the vehicle. The engine will only start if the code in the transponder chip inside the key/fob matches the code in the vehicle’s immobilizer. Because the transponder chip is embedded in the key/fob, it can be costly to replace. If you lose a key or fob, your Toyota dealer can help. Alternatively, you can find a qualified independent locksmith to perform high-security key services by consulting your local Yellow Pages or by contacting www.aloa.org.
