Revision to 99, simple number operations, the

time.

El tiempo: Revise the date in

Spanish, learn to say types of weather,

perform a weather forecast for a region

of Spain.

El cuerpo: Identify parts of the

body in Spanish. Design and describe a

monster. Perform a role play at

the Doctor’s.

La música: Musical instruments (incl. ‘toco’), types of

music, opinions of music.

En el café: Ordering food and drinks,

tapas, recipes, Spanish mealtimes, give opinions on

Spanish food.

Mi tiempo libre: Identify sports and hobbies, give opinion of favourite

past time.

Dictionary practice and spelling activities where possible through topics.

Additional cross-curricular topics

include ‘The Solar System’, ‘The

Rainforest’, Plant Lifecycles..

Mathematical vocabulary.

3rd person irregular verb ‘hace’ for some

weather types.

Revise gender and plural of nouns.

Adjectival agreement and position.

3rd person verb ‘tiene’. Irregular verb ‘me

duele’.

Opinions using Me gusta / no me gusta. (+ ‘n’

for plural). ‘Porque’ conjunction. Adjective agreement.

Extended sentences to give opnion using ‘Me gusta, me encanta (+ ‘n’ for plural), detesto, with ‘porque es’

and adjectives. Adjective agreement.

Use of correct verb jugar / practicar.

Explain favourite sport / hobby using ‘me gusta / me

encanta + sport + infinitive’.

Extend with ‘porque’ Conjunction and adjective.
