Objectives
• Use assessments to identify knowledge gaps
– support learning & planning
• Improve our Curriculum Model
• Support students with solid evidence of progress
• Improve the reporting system to provide clarity
Findings
• Learning not always linear
• Confused reporting system
• Need for grades and percentages
• Red, Amber Green system often demotivating
• Assessments sometimes became siloed
• Assessments need to be linked to full curriculum
• Knowledge gaps are inevitable
• We need to know where they are
Sequencing a curriculum is vital
