KeyNotes from Keystrokes March 2011 From the Corner Office Reminder....Aflac Enrollment Deadline is 03/31/11 The month of March is our annual open enrollment period for Aflac. -- If you'd like to add, drop or make changes to your coverage, March will be your chance to do so. Remember, while major medical does an excellent job at making sure the doctors and hospitals get paid, Aflac ensures that you get cash in hand, in your time of need (Accident/Illness/Maternity). It's important to remember too that Aflac pays above and beyond any existing coverage. As these policies are paid for through a payroll deduction, you will receive an up to 40% reduction in the rates. Also, these plans are fully portable, and at the same reduced rates, as they are personally owned. Aflac has a very relaxed underwriting process, and all of their plans are guaranteed renewable and rate stable. Aflac does not raise their rates -- you will lock in both to your age bracket, and to the reduced payroll rates. The most popular line of coverage Aflac offers at Keystrokes is their Disability (paycheck protection). Their Accident coverage is also very popular. In addition to the Disability and Accident plans, Aflac also offers Maternity, Sickness, Cancer, Heart-attack, Life, Dental, and Vision plans -- all but the Disability & Life are available on a pre-tax basis, resulting in additional savings. Now is the time to reflect on what protection you may need. If you are currently without a Disability plan, it is highly recommended that you take a look at such as soon as possible. Insuring your ability to bring home a paycheck is paramount. To listen to this year's annual Open Enrollment audio presentation, please visit: http://soundcloud.com/aflac-at-keystrokes/aflac-keystrokes-you Further information, brochures and rates, can be found on the Keystrokes employee website. It would be wise to download the general information file (wherein you'll find the rates) and any brochures that you may have inter- est in, before listening to the audio presentation. Hello, I’m Eric Schreiber, one of the developers for the new company, ChartNet Technologies, Inc. I built my first computer in the late 1980s, and have been a die-hard computer geek ever since. I got into programming as a hobbyist, writing little utilities that I needed and giving them away as freeware. Eventually this led to a variety of consulting projects, and showed me that I wanted to make a career of it. I love programming – the challenge of taking large, complex problems and breaking them down into manageable tasks appeals to me, as does the struc-ture and order of computer language. But while I love programming, just like anyone else I have plenty of days when I hate computers! On the creative side of things, I have two main interests, the first of which is photography. My favorite subjects are dramatic landscapes, macro close-ups, and renaissance faire characters. Recently I’ve begun to dabble a bit in glamour photography as well, and hope to be doing a lot more soon. Of course, I don’t get too far away from my computers in any of this, as I do a lot of editing work in Photoshop. I show off my best results at my personal website, www.ericschreiber.com. My other creative interest is audio production. Over the last several years I’ve built a modest computer-based recording studio in my basement, and a year ago my wife and I started a small business, www.sumppumpstudio.com, to record and produce audio dramas. Think of it as a cross between old-time radio programs and books on tape, and you’ve pretty much got the idea. My wife writes the scripts and directs, and I handle the technical side and do the detailed audio editing. We record professional actors performing all the dialog and narration, then spend months tweaking the audio and adding sound effects and music – all of which we’re creating ourselves. We’re wrapping up our first production, “Tom Swift and His Motor-Cycle” (from the 1910 boy’s adventure book), and have the next two recorded and ready to start the long post production proc-ess. It’s a huge amount of work, far more than I ever would have guessed, but it has been one of the most re-warding experiences of my life.

I am the ogre under the bridge and the angel in the sky. I am the one you want, even though I am very shy.

I am the dork, the geek, and the genius guy You will come to when you can’t figure out why.

I am the mad man riding Vera, the scooter

I am the photographer, with a Canon point and shooter I am the tech who whispers to his computer

You can find me doing research at the local Hooters.

I am the cook making sugary, chocolaty, ganache I am the one who delivers with panache

I am the one who is difficult to squash You can always bring me something to nosh.

That’s who I am in case you’re wondering

That’s who you hired and may now be wondering What have I done bringing him on board?

You did good and with me you’ll never be bored.

-- written by Eric's dad
