NOTICE FOR STAFF

INTERNALTEST NO 1

Date – 02-08-2017.

All the teachers teaching various subjects to the students of F. Y. B.Com., S. Y. B. Com., and T. Y. B. Com. are informed that the First

Internal Test of the students of these classes shall be conducted between 8th August,

2017 and 16th August, 2017, as per the time table separately dIsplayed.

Teachers are requested to set the question-paper of the subject they are

teaching, get the required number of copies printed (xeroxed) from the office, and

submit those copies to the undersigned for the purpose of smooth conduct of the

examinations.

General guideline for setting question papers

1. FOR F Y B COM SUBJECTS

Please set the question-paper for 20 marks and the time allowed is 60

minutes.

The question papers shall consist of two questions, as stated below -

– the First question shall be a long-answer question and shall carry 12

marks, and

– the second question shall be a short-answer question carrying 8 marks in

which the students may be asked to attempt any two out of the 3 or 4

questions given, depending upon the nature of subject and topics

prescribed for the test.

– In case of Accountancy, Costing, Taxation, Computer and other subjects

in which practical problems are set, the question paper-pattern may be

modified by the paper-setter as per the requirements of the concerned

subject.




2. FOR S Y B COM AND T Y B COM SUBJECTS

Please set the question-paper for 10 marks and for 45 minutes.

The question papers may consists of short questions of 5 marks each and

students may be asked to attempt any two out of the 3 or 4 questions given,

depending upon the nature of subject and topics prescribed for the test. In

case of Accountancy, Costing, Taxation, Computer and other subjects in

which practical problems are set, the question paper-pattern may be


subject.

3. In case of a paper where both, English and Marathi versions are given, as far

as possible ensure that the questions shall be the same for both the medium.

4. The required number of Photo-state (Xerox) copies of the question-papers as

per the students strenght of the concerned subject should be submitted

positively to the undersigned by 5th August, 2017.

INTERNAL TEST NO 1 of M Com Part I and Part II

All the teachers teaching various subjects to the students of M Com Part I and M

Com Part II are informed that the First Internal Test carrying 20 marks shall be conducted

between 7th September, 2016 and 9th September, 2016, as per the time table separately

dIsplayed.

Teachers are requested to set the question-paper of the subject they are teaching,

get the required number of copies printed (xeroxed) from the office, and submit those

copies to the undersigned for the purpose of smooth conduct of the examinations.

Guideline for question papers -

1. Please set the question-paper for 20 marks and for ONE hour.

2. In case of a paper where both, English and Marathi versions are given, as far as

possible ensure that the questions shall be the same for both the medium.

3. The required number of Photo-state (Xerox) copies of the question-papers as per

the students strenght of the concerned subject should be submitted positively to

the undersigned by 6th September, 2016 by 11.00 a.m. (Please note the

examination starts on 7th September, 2016).

4. The suggested pattern of the question papers is as follows –

(A) For theory based papersa. The first question carrying 10 marks which is a long-answer question and is

compulsory, as per the policy decision, and,

b. The other question carrying 10 marks which will carry two short-questions

(not short notes) of 5 marks each. In this question, a student may be asked

to attempt any two out of the 3 or 4 short-questions given, depending upon

the nature of subject and topics prescribed for the test.

(B) For Practical based papers like Accounting / Costing / Taxation /Computer etc.

(a)The first question carrying 12 marks which is in the form of a practical

exercise and is compulsory, as per the policy decision, and

(b) The other question carrying 8 marks which will carry two short-questions

(not short notes) of 4 marks each. In this question a student may be asked

to attempt any two out of the 3 or 4 short questions given, depending upon

the nature of subject and topics prescribed for the test.
