Coverage Detailed Analysis – SPOT 1

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION : Poor RSCP, this area can’t be improved with the existing sites due to distance and vegetation loss.1. By estimate from the DT data, LuLu super market indoor coverage will be bad,

even 2G also have IBS plan in this super market. hence, IBS solution is needed.2. With the implementation of IBS need to add two additional outdoor sectors

which will help to improve outdoor coverage.

RECOMMENDATION: Need to add IBS for the LuLu hyper market in Khasab with two outdoor sectors serving the populated area. 2- Need to deploy U900 uniformly in all the sites of Khasab area.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION : Poor RSCP in the in highlighted area is due to pilot is serving in this area.Nearest site is KHASABEARTHSTATION_3G which is having two sectors only and covering the main road and area near to road. It is looking a large area need to be covered as shown from google earth view. As this area is opposite to the site physical adjustment cannot solve the coverage issue.RECOMMENDATION: No sector is shooting towards this area. Need to add additional sector to KHASABEARTHSTATION_3G area can be easily improved

Coverage is found to be normal at cluster level. There are few areas with no dominance or weak coverage, where new sites are already been

planned to improve the 3G coverage & quality.

Below recommendation in the table need to be implemented so that coverage , capacity and user perception can be improved.

Some complaints in Khasab area are mainly due to penetration losses. Needs to deploy U900(as 3rd Carrier) so that indoor penetration will be improved

Needs to implement the recommended sites as soon as possible to enhance coverage & quality in the area which will ultimately lead to improve

overall RNC KPIs.

Needs to deploy U900 uniformly to cater the growing CS & PS services.
