With only two weeks at home in between, we left for Japan for some vacation and to train at

After the camp we had one day of sightseeing in Tokyo before heading home.
Saturday Intensive training in our dojo right after the Japan Camp to convey the main teachings of the camp, and also this week we welcomed our second long-term uchi deshi… Michele from Italy :-)

Aiki Extensions
8./9. October we had an European Ki-Aikido Seminar with students from various Dutch and German dojos attending. Senseis Ad Voogels, Toby Voogels
and Olaf Schubert shared the teaching. On Sunday we had a few very successful tests: Sophia and Nick for Jokyu, and Thorsten for Shodan.
Back to our dojo Thorsten got his black belt in our dojos traditional manner :-) And a few pictures from our „beautification“ of the uchi deshi living space in the attic …
More testing… October 14
December 9th our kids (from Peter’s groups) had their big day - 20 tests from 9th to 6th Kyu. Congratulations! And our dojo’s tea room was finished just in time for the upcoming New Year Seminar :-)
The year 2016 ended with our traditional New Year seminar. We opened the seminar on the 31st with a spirited Sokushin no Gyo session, trained some fun Aikido together, prepared and had Silvester Dinner together, did a
beautiful Ki Breathing session through the actual year-change over midnight, had breakfast together on the 1st and started the training of 2017 with a ki-boosting 108 Aikido Arts practice :-)
