How do I get Care-3?

A low mileage plan option is available for Kia Diesel customers who drive less than 15,000km per year only.

This plan consists of an annual maintenance and fluid top up, beginning on the first year and a full service, including applicable filter replacements every second year, depending on the length of plan.

Available as a 3 year (Care-3 Low Mileage) or 5 year plan (Care-3 Low Mileage Plus).

1. Read through the different packages available in this brochure and decide which is the most suitable for you, based on your mileage and motoring needs.

2. Buy your Care-3 package through your local Kia dealership. With flexible payment options, you can finance the service plan when buying your car, through monthly or one off payments. Alternatively you can buy your service plan at any stage during the first 3 months of ownership of your new Kia.

3. Sit back and relax, safe in the knowledge that you’ve covered the cost of your car’s servicing.

Terms & Conditions

• Kia Care-3, Kia Care-3 Plus and Kia Care-3 Low Mileage plans must be purchased within 3 calendar months from the date of first registration of the vehicle.

• Kia Care-3 and Kia Care-3 Plus covers the first 3 or 5 annual scheduled services in line with Manufacturers time/mileage recommendations but does not include additional maintenance or repair for wear & tear items such as tyres, brake pads, bulbs, drive belts and fluid top up’s between services, etc.

• Kia Care-3 Low Mileage covers comprises of an annual maintenance check-up on years 1 and 3 and a full service including oil and filter replacement on year 2. It does not include additional maintenance or repair for wear & tear items such as tyres, brake pads, bulbs, drive belts and fluid top up’s between services, etc.

• Kia Care-3 covers the cost of the parts, lubricants and labour involved in the first 3 manufacturer scheduled services (36 months or 45,000 kilometres, on petrol models, whichever milestone is reached sooner.

• Kia Care-3 covers the cost of the parts, lubricants and labour involved in the first 3 manufacturer scheduled services 36 months or 90,000 kilometres on diesel models, whichever milestone is reached sooner).

• Kia Care-3 Plus covers the cost of the parts, lubricants and labour involved in the first 5 manufacturer scheduled services (5 years or 75,000 kilometres, whichever milestone is reached sooner). Available for petrol or hybrid models only.

• Kia Care-3 Low Mileage covers the cost of the parts, lubricants and labour involved in an annual maintenance and fluid top up at 15,000 km / 1 year (whichever is the sooner), a manufacturer mileage scheduled service at 30,000km / year 2 (whichever is the sooner) and an annual maintenance and fluid top up at 45,000 km / year 3 (whichever is the sooner).

• Kia Care-3 Low Mileage Plus is a continuation of the Kia Care-3 Low Mileage plan, with another manufacturer mileage scheduled service at 60,000km / year 4 (whichever is the sooner) and an annual maintenance and fluid top up at 75,000 km / year 5 (whichever is the sooner).

• Kia Care-3 is developed for customers covering a maximum annual mileage of 15,000 kilometres (14,000 kilometres per annum plus 1,000 kilometres grace period) for petrol models and for customers covering a maximum annual mileage of 30,000 kilometres (29,000 kilometres per annum plus 1,000 kilometres grace period) for diesel models.

• Kia Care-3 Low Mileage Mileage package is developed for customers covering a maximum annual mileage of 15,000 kilometres per year (14,000 kilometres per annum plus 1,000 kilometres grace period).

• Should you purchase a ‘standard’ or “low mileage” package and exceed the ‘standard’ or “low mileage package” mileage, certain service components on your car may need replacing - for which your dealer will charge you separately. This includes any additional parts, labour and oils required due to exceeding the mileage.

• Kia Care- 3, Kia Care-3 Plus and Kia Care-3 Low Mileage is only applicable to parts and lubricants supplied and labour charges in the Rep. of Ireland, although Kia Care-3 may be purchased in respect of vehicles purchased in other parts of the EEC.

• Servicing conducted under Kia Care-3, Kia Care-3 Plus and Kia Care-3 Low Mileage must be carried out in line with the Manufacturers time and mileage recommendations.

• Service due dates are taken form the First Date of Registration of the vehicle.

• You can arrange for servicing under any Kia Care-3 plan to be carried out by any Kia Dealer or Authorised Repairer within the Rep. of Ireland.

• Kia Care-3, Kia Care-3 Plus and Kia Care-3 Low Mileage does not cover items that require replacement or repair due to excess wear and tear, misuse or a lack of maintenance as described in the owners handbook.

• Any form of tuning or modification to your vehicle will invalidate the Kia Care-3 plan without the need for evidence that the tuning or modification has adversely affected your vehicle.

• Replacement pollen filters are excluded from Kia Care-3, Kia Care-3 Plus and Kia Care-3 Low Mileage.

• Replacement pollen filters are to be changed at the owner’s discretion and cost.

• Value Added Tax (VAT) is included in the purchase price.

• Top up plans (fourth and fifth services) are only available for cars where a standard Kia Care-3 service plan is already in place.

Cancellations & Transfers:

• Should you wish to cancel your Kia Care-3, Kia Care-3 Plus or Kia Care-3 Low Mileage package, you have the right to do so within 14 days of purchase, providing you have not made use of it. Kia Care-3, Kia Care-3 Plus and Kia Care-3 Low Mileage cannot be cancelled/ refunded after 14 days from purchase.

• Kia Care-3, Kia Care-3 Plus and Kia Care-3 Low Mileage are assigned to the vehicle and not the owner. Therefore Kia Care-3, Kia Care-3 Plus and Kia Care-3 Low Mileage is transferable to subsequent owners but cannot be transferred to another vehicle.
