BACKGROUND ON MAKE-A-WISH IRELAND

Make-A-Wish Ireland grants wishes to children aged 3 - 17 years who are living with life-threatening medical conditions

such as cancer, leukaemia and cystic fibrosis.

Make-A-Wish invites your students to get involved with this very special children’s charity, while also learning the skills

of leadership, teamwork, problem solving, business development, idea generation, event planning, selling, marketing,

presentation skills and fundraising. Students will also gain a sense of achievement by having made a real difference to

children of their own age.
