Kinder Joy Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt on the Beach

+ Fun Fair 2013

Jointly organised by Discovery Bay D’Deck, the largest oceanfront alfresco dining hotspot

in Hong Kong, and Baby-mo Magazine, the one-of-a-kind event in town – Kinder Joy

“Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt on the Beach+ Fun Fair 2013” will be back in March

for its 7th anniversary!

On 29 & 30 March 2013 (the 1st and 2nd day of the Easter holiday), your kids can discover

30,000 colourful eggs hidden in the sand of Tai Pak Beach in Discovery Bay and win

fabulous prizes worth HK$600,000. Adding fun to the day will be the Fun Fair at DB Plaza

and the DBN Easter Family Kingdom at DB North Plaza. Visit Discovery Bay and fill your

Easter holiday with laughter and nice surprises for your kids!

Hunt for 30,000 Colourful Easter Eggs on Tai Pak Beach (12 noon to 5pm)

The two-day Easter Egg Hunt will welcome 3,200 children, who will be divided into 3 groups

(age 3-4, 5-6 and 7-10) to dig out 30,000 colourful Easter eggs hidden in the sand. Those

who uncover the Golden, Silver, Blue, Red, Purple, or Green Eggs hidden among other

colourful eggs will be awarded special prizes!

A total of 30,000 prizes worth more than HK$600,000 will be ready for redemption. The

Golden Egg hunter will receive the Grand Prize worth HK$3,200 presented by Kinder Joy,

which includes: Ferrero products (Kinder series & Nutella), Ocean Park Smart Fun Pass for

2 adults & 1 child, and gift vouchers for books and toys. The Silver, Blue, Red, Purple or

Green Egg hunters will also be given wonderful prizes worth over HK$1,000 each. In

addition, for each egg hunted, an “Eggs Redemption Prize” assigned by the Organiser will

be given out. That is, the more eggs hunted, the more gifts will be taken home1! All

participants will also receive a Welcome Goodies Bag and a Certificate of Excellence.

The Easter Egg Hunt admission package costs HK$1802, which includes the event fee &

charity donation to Playright Children’s Play Association, a non-profit organisation that

seeks to enrich the lives of children through quality play. The price also includes one Easter

Egg Hunt Cash Voucher valued HK$1003, valid in selected restaurants and merchants at

D’ Deck and DB North Plaza.

Online registration for the Easter Egg Hunt (www.ddeck.com.hk) will begin from 10am on

1 March 2013 and close at 6pm on 6 March 2013. Admission will be allocated by drawing

lots. A limited quota will be reserved for on-site admission for each group on the event days.

Fun Fair with 8 Game Zones at DB Plaza (10:30am to 6:30pm)

An Easter Fun Fair will be held at the adjacent DB Plaza to complement the Easter Egg

Hunt on the beach. A total of eight game zones will be set up, where children can

participate in a variety of innovative and interactive games. What’s more, the open-air

market will provide your children with the choices of delicious snacks, fun entertainment

and unique products to help “re-energise” you and your family after the hunt!

DBN Easter Family Kingdom at DB North Plaza Giant Inflatable Funland (1:00pm

to 6:00pm)

Want to bring your kids additional amusement and excitement? Just take the free shuttle

bus to DB North Plaza where the special Easter edition of DBN Family Kingdom4 is

waiting to entertain. Eight fun inflatable games, balloon twisting and face painting service

will be in store for your kids.

Enjoy Free Ferry Ride Offer5 by D’Deck

Free ferry ride will be offered to children aged 12 and below who travel from Central to

Discovery Bay between 10:00am and 3:30pm on 29 March and 30 March 2013 (single

journey only, and the journey time is around 25 minutes).

What’s more, simply present an original receipt of HK$100 or above from any of the 14

designated restaurants6 at the D’Deck Free Ferry Service Counter located at DB Plaza, just

next to the brown Security Guard Post, and you can enjoy a free ferry ride back to Central

on the same day (spending with the Easter Egg Hunt cash voucher is also eligible for this

offer).

2 The price of the Easter Egg Hunt admission package is HK$180, which will cover the event fee & charity

donation to PlayRight Children’s Play Association, but will exclude courier charge & PayPal administration fee.

The courier charge of admission ticket(s) is HK$20 per transaction, and PayPal will impose additional

surcharge per transaction as administration fee. Each Easter Egg Hunt admission package includes one

Easter Egg Hunt cash voucher with a value of HK$100. Please note the items included in the Easter Egg Hunt

admission package will not be sold separately. All fees paid are non-refundable.

3 Each “Easter Egg Hunt Cash Voucher” has a face value of HK$100 and is valid from 29 March to 30 April

2013. It has no minimum spending limit, and can be used cumulatively.

4 There is no entry fee for the DBN Easter Family Kingdom but all games come with a consumption

requirement. Upon spending HK$50 or above at designated merchants of DB North Plaza, customers can

redeem a game ticket with the original same-day receipt at the “DBN Family Kingdom Information Counter”.

Each ticket admits one person to any one of the specified games on the same day.

5 D’Deck “Dine ‘N Ride” Free Ferry Ride Offer is valid for dinner consumption from Monday to Friday, and

lunch /dinner consumption on Saturday, Sunday and public holiday, on the same day of the transaction, and
