Identify all the characters in the story and talk about them with English Phonics: Complete the weekly single sounds “Spy and Count” page (as attached). Tick the picture if it begins with the target sound. Put a cross if it doesn’t. Count how many pictures begin with the sound and colour the correct number. Middle Mathematics Ask someone at home to help you find 20 objects. Watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0Ajq682yrA if you can. Practise counting your collection, forwards and backwards. You can even try starting from different numbers (for example, start with 5 objects and keep on counting). Count how many steps it takes to get from your bedroom to the kitchen and back. Write this number in your workbook and draw a map of the steps you took.

Mathematics We have been learning about adding (or counting all of the items together).

• If you have a dice, play the Rock and Roll addition game.

• If you have lego at home, you can play the Building Brick Addition and Subtraction Board Game.

• Complete the ladybug activity. Draw some spots on each wing and count them altogether. Make sure you form your letters correctly.

Draw your birthday cake and how many candles you need on your cake. Write your numbers up to 20, making sure you form them correctly. Number hunt: what numbers can you find in your house? Afternoon Science and Technology In Science, we have been learning about different materials. Go on a material hunt in your house! What things can you find that are made out of wood, paper, metal, plastic, rubber, brick, and fabric. In your workbook, draw a picture of what you have found. This can be uploaded onto our Google Classroom.

Geography Tell your Mum and Dad why your house is special to you and why. Design and draw the ultimate bedroom. Would it have an ice cream machine and a jumping castle in there? If you can, upload the picture to your Google Classroom.

Creative Arts Draw a picture of your family. Draw what you like to do together as a family. Create a dance sequence and perform it for your family.

PDHPE If you can, watch the Fundamental Movement Skills video about catching. Practise throwing and catching a ball with a family member. Draw three ways that you can keep your body healthy.
