PDHPE Create another obstacle course using items from around the house/classroom. Make sure you perform some of the fundamental movement skills such as balancing and jumping.
PDHPE Perform some relaxing Yoga poses. You might like to perform the milkshake, breath of joy or the tree pose.

PDHPE Play a game of Captain’s Coming. Parents/teachers/ older siblings can call out the following instructions: * Scrub the decks: crew members get on their hands and knees and pretend to scrub the deck. * Climb the rigging: crew members pretend to climb a rope ladder. * Captain’s coming: crew members salute and say "aye aye captain". * Hit the deck: crew members lay face down on the floor. * Captain's wife: crew members curtsey.
* Four corners: there are four corners of the ship: back, front, left and right. Use something to
mark each corner. When the captain yells out a corner all crew members must run to it.

Mathematics Practice counting forwards to 30, and backwards from 20.
Discuss the teenage numbers 13-19. These numbers are called teenage numbers because we pronounce them saying “teen” at the end. Have a go at saying the numbers again correctly.
Using dice, dominoes, playing cards or number flashcards practice recognising how many dots/pictures there are? Turn over 2 playing cards, dominoes or number
Mathematics Practice counting forwards to 30, and backwards from 20.
Have a look at the number line (attached). What is the largest number on the number line? What is the smallest number? Can you find your age number?
Play a game of fastest finger. Ask a family member to call out a number between 0-30. You have to quickly point to it before they do. When you have found the number have a look at the number before and the number

Go outside and have a running race with family members or your school friends. OR gather some toys and have a race using your toys. Who came first, second and third? We can show these numbers by using ordinal numbers. They use the numeral followed by some letters that represent the word: 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Can you think of another time when ordinal numbers might be used?

Ask family members or friends the following Yes/No questions and record their answers using tally marks. Write your tally marks on the attached sheet. Do you like the colour blue? Do you like drawing? Do you like dancing? Do you have a pet? Do you like pizza? Do you like glitter?

Create a picture graph of your favourite things to do at home using the attached sheet. Begin by choosing 3 things that you like doing at home such as, reading, playing outside or watching TV. Then survey your family or friends asking them to select one of your choices. After the data has been collected create a picture graph using the attached graph template. Show your graph to mum, dad or an older sibling. What can you tell them about the graph?

Creative Arts (Shhh… make sure you keep this a secret from mum). Mother’s Day is on the 10th of May and because our mums love us lots and do so much work for us we have a surprise for them. Using the sheet attached create a flower bouquet for mum. Use textas, crayons, pencils or paint and follow the included instructions to make. Thank you mums for everything you do ☺
Geography/History Discuss and compare the concept of different viewpoints (birds-eye-view, ground-level view, oblique view). (See resource sheet).
Gather some toys and put them together in front of you. Describe what you can see when the toys are viewed at ground level, oblique view and birds-eye-view.
Discuss how objects that are in the foreground (close to you) appear larger than those in the background (far away). Imagine you’re flying over the toys in a helicopter. Can you draw a birds-eye-view of your toys if you were looking down from your helicopter? You might like to upload some photos of your drawing.
Catch Up Use this time to finish any of this week’s activities that you have. You may also want to make mum a mother’s day card for next weekend.
