Kinds of People Youll Meet in 21st Century(Diverse People from Diverse Places in the 21st Century)

The twenty-first century isnt new to me. This century started in the year 2001 and it

will end by 2100. As a person who has lived in this century for eleven years and stillcounting, Ive already met different people having different likes and dislikes. Through

my experiences and observations, I have classified the types of people that you might

meet in the 21st century. As a biology student, I want to base my classification by the

works of the taxonomists. Taxonomists differentiate, identify, and classify organisms by

behavior, similarities, relationships and other qualities. The only difference is that, I will

classify people and not organisms. Now, I will show you the diversity of people in the

21st century.

If we tackle all the types of people, these pieces of paper are not enough. For the

sake of discussion, I will only introduce to you five kinds of people that you might meetin the 21st century. The remaining kinds are for you to discover them. The first one is the

GC people (Grade Conscious People), sometimes they are called perfectionists. They

are not lazy, and if you try to go with them, there is a possibility that you will become GC

too. They always recheck their test papers for corrections and if there is a chance for

extra credit, they will grab that chance. This group is subdivided into two, those on top

and those striving to be on top. The people in the first subgroup always get what they

want, and that is to be on top, but the people in the second subgroup cannot be on top

because of the first subgroup. There is a sort of rivalry between these two subgroups.

The next kind of people is the Party like its the end of the world people orsometimes called gate-crashers. This kind of people is the opposite of the GC people.

GC people find their happiness in studying lessons, reading books, and answering

assignments, while these people find their happiness in partying. They want to party, as

though there were no tomorrow. In a formal party like a birthday party or a wedding

party, you will easily notice them. They are the first to arrive and the ones who leave

last. Unlike GC people, they have a great social life, and if you go with them, maybe you

will meet the other kinds. Sometimes, if they arent invited, they will try to enter the party

which earned them their other name: gate-crashers.

Also, you might meet the emotional types or for short, emo. GC people are forlibraries and classrooms; Party like its the end of the world people are for disco bars

and restaurants; the emotional type people are for their rooms. I want to introduce this

kind, because it is difficult for you to meet them due to their zero social life. You will

differentiate them from other kinds if you see them with cut marks on their wrists and if

their hair covers their entire face. Also, they do not wear bright colors, they always wear

black. The chief characteristic of the emos is they are too emotional that may lead to

suicide. There are several factors why a person becomes an emo, maybe s/he doesnt

have caring parents, or maybe s/he is not socially accepted.

The fourth kind is the elite people or the VIPs (Very Important Persons). If there is

an occasion, these people will arrive last. In the social pyramid, the elite people are on

top. This group is subdivided into two, the rich and the politicians. The rich subgroupowns the majority of the wealth of a country, while politician subgroup owns the majority

of the power. In most cases, politicians are from rich families. But sometimes, a

politician is poor at first and suddenly becomes rich because of corruption.

The last kind that I will discuss is the normal group. I classified them as normal

because they are the majority of people in the 21 st century. This kind includes the

workers, students, teachers, professors, office workers, officers, Metro-aid, mid-wife,

house wife, house husband, sales agent, nothing to do with their lives people and other

normal persons. In the social pyramid, the normal type group is at the bottom. You will

always meet this kind of people anywhere, and maybe you are one of them. Again, ifyou want to know all kinds of people in the 21 st century, you need to explore and find

them. They are just around you waiting to meet you.
