Increasingly complex supply chains – and highly publicized product recalls and a heightened regulatory environment – have placed greater emphasis on food and drug safety. Every producer is keenly aware that a single recall can take a lasting toll on their brand reputation, customer loyalty and profits.

While maintaining hygienic operation is critical to mitigate risk, cleaning and sanitizing procedures can be labor intensive and require extensive machine downtime.  This significantly impacts the productivity and overall equipment effectiveness.  

The Kinetix® VPH hygienic servo motor is designed to help OEMs and manufacturers tackle these demanding trends and stay competitive.  

The hygienic design, along with an IP69K rating, are made to handle pressure washing and harsh environments. The motor is optimally integrated into a full system with Kinetix 5500 and Kinetix 5700 servo drive systems. With a single on-motor cable that comes with connector or flying leads, this motor is flexible and easy to install. It comes in a broad range of options – with six frame sizes, two voltage classes, and brake and non-brake version, it’s easy to find the right fit for your machine.
