Just after my graduation from the University of Moratuwa, I joined the Mahaweli Development Board in 1975 as a project Engineer. in 1981, I received the Membership of the Institute of Engineers of Sri Lanka MIE (SL) Chartered Engineer and

Mawatha, Templers Road, College Avenue & Siripala Road, De Alwis Avenue) and Colombo’s business hub (@ Retreat Road–Bambalapitya, Galle Road–Kollupitiya, Moor’s Road–Wella-watte, Alfred House Gardens-Kollupitiya, Boswell Place–Well-awatte) and Railway Avenue, Nugegoda.

Under my able guidance, the organization undertook construction assignments from many reputed government entities such as the State Engi-neering Corporation, State Development and Construction Corp, the NHDA, USDA and the National Physical Planning Department, to name a few.

I was involved in the construction of Sri Lanka High Commis-sioner’s Office in Canberra, Australia as the Chairman of the TEC and duly completed the project within just one year. The 350m High Lotus TV Tower and 20-storey Personal Identifica-tion Secretariat Building, at Battaramulla are two of the major projects that I was involved with in my career. During my ten-ure at the Buildings Department, it won a range of National Productivity Awards from 2006 to 2010.

We are now constructing a brand new residential project of grandeur at Alfred House Gardens, Kollupitiya, Colombo, Sri Lanka. The location of Alfred House Gardens lies in the Spe-cial Primary Residential Zone and faces the breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean from which invigoratively soothing winds embraces everyone in the area day and night.
