Issue #6 [December 18, 2013]

Teacher of the week This week’s Teacher of the Week, is the one

of a kind Coach Sellers!!! He is quite a unique person! To get to know him better we asked him a few questions. To start off his favorite color is Azure, his favorite food is steak, and if he could have any exotic animal of course it would be a Black Unicorn. We also asked him some “off the wall” questions. His response to the question, “What do you do in your down time?” was “I cook and eat.” When asked “What are your pet peeves” he simply answered “people who answer questions regarding to me!” If Coach Sellers had 1 million dollars he would buy the rights to all of Miley Cyrus’s songs and NEVER let them be played again. Some of the worst advice he has ever taken was to yield to pedestrians! Finally a subject he would never teach is Science!!! As you can see Coach Sellers is a lime

Our FMS student of the week for sixth grade is Isaiah Flavell. He is a red color fan! I asked Isaiah, “What is your Christmas wish?” He says, “It’s a Windows 8 laptop.” Like all boys he likes football and basketball and his favorite game in P.E. is Capture the Flag. This is a big shock, HE DOESN’T LIKE HUNTING!!! Isaiah’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Thorton. He wants to become a doctor one day. Mountain Dew is his favorite drink out of all and he just devours pizza. He loves summer because, “there is no school and I can swim all I want” Isaiah says. The final question I asked Isaiah was, “What would you do if you won a million dollars?” He said, “I would buy Beats, Jordon’s, and Adidas with my new 2-story home.” By: Morissa Magee

This week's student of week for seventh grade is Walker Lander! One of his favorite sports is baseball. His Christmas wish is a pair of Beats Headsets. His favorite team is Ole Miss. Walker’s favorite teacher is Mrs. West! His favorite subject is Boy’s Athletics, his favorite food is pizza and he thinks Mountain Dew is awesome. Lander’s best buddies are Bryson Tucker and Jordan Sanders. He likes the color blue. His favorite brand of shoe is Nike. By: Dalton Ainsworth and Bryson Tucker

This week’s 8th grade student of the week is Laura Duncan! She has a very interesting life!! Her favorite color is blue, her favorite food is just Mexican. An exotic animal she would like to have … A PANTHER!! Her downtime consists of reading!! A pet peeve of hers is being called “Laura disease.” She would absolutely, positively never teach English. The worst advice she’s ever taken in her life was “Hey, ask your mom a weird question!” Something she’s never done but, would like to do is to travel the world!! A million dollars would be spent wisely!! By: Sydney Abernathy, Bayleigh Morgan, and Autumn Tatum

The Evil Elves Jordan Ingram and Baylor Little were quite mischievous elves. Pranks and games were in their nature after all they are the “whoopee cushion elves.” Santa (aka coach Blaylock) called them into his office one evening for a cup of cocoa and a stern talking to. “Jordan your name is 457th on the naughty list; therefore your elf hood has been banished, as for you Baylor your elf hood has been suspended due to half of the teddy bear makers having food poisoning.” Jordan and Baylor were so distraught they planned one of the worst pranks on Santa Claus in history! (duh duh duhhhhhh). After chewing Santa out, they politely walked out of the office. Santa was about to go into delivery mode when suddenly the package elf arrived “ SANTA! SANTA! WAIT! SANTA! Cookies for you, freshly baked.” The card stated, “Santa I’m dearly sorry for the choice words we had earlier. I hope you can accept my apology and know how dear you are to us. Inside are some rather extraordinary cookies and chocolate milk. ENJOY! LOVE, Baylor elf and Jordan elf.” Santa was so amazed he bit straight into a cookie, his throat was twice the size of his head, his hands were 10x the size of his thighs. “GARLIC! ONION! SHRIMP! HELP! IM ALLERGIC! HELP!” All of Santa’s worst nightmares in one single smidge of a cookie. Santa’s heart went into overdrive and nobody received presents ever again. SANTA was DEAD!
