A spectacle so grand that it can only fit in your dreams. This is the tag line used for Kingdom Of Dreams(KOD) in its promotions by none other than Sharukh Khan himself.

Kingdom Of Dreams is located in Gurgoan(Delhi NCR),and its one of its kind in the country. Its India’s first live show presented in such grand way.Its one of the best hangout place in Delhi NCR.Everything in Kingdom of Dreams is crafted with such perfection. ”Wow” is the word you hear from everyone who visit Kingdom Of Dreams. As the tag line says “It can only fit in your dreams”, and rightly so,because everything inside Kingdom Of Dreams Gurgoan is just so beautiful , grand right from those big elephant outside the doors to the cultural gully to the nautanki mahal. When the sunlight goes off and KOD turns on its lights,it resembles a great Kingdom of the ancient times, with those big elephants standing on the door, the staff dressed in the Royal clothes,a dhol wala playing dhol infront of the gate. But it is just a beginning of a spectacular place and of a hangout with your loved ones which you won’t forget in the years to come.

The Kingdom of Dreams is located in Sector 29,Gurgoan and is run by the Great Indian Nautanki Pvt Ltd.The Kingdom of Dreams is broadly divided into 3 Zones.Cultural Gully,Nautanki Mahal,Showshaa Theatre.Recently Reverse Bunjee Jump has also been included.

• Cultural Gully The cultural Gully is the true depiction of the diverse cultures of the various states of the country(14 to be exact),everything lined up in a gully. From Punjab,Kerala,Rajasthan to Mumbai,Hyderabad and even the remotest corners of the country(Assam). The gully has been divided into these small areas(Pavillions),each depicting the culture of a particular state along with the state themed restaurants which serves cusines of that state too.

The Punjab pavillion has a big truck outside the Punjabi restaurant, which serves typical Punjabi food. The Mumbai area is filled with the Bollywood photos of the Great Films, along with the Local train. The Kerala pavilion is actually made to look like the popular House Boat from the Kerala itself and the goa area with all the sands around giving you a beach like feel.Every minor details of all the states has been captured in such a beautiful manner in the gully.

Apart from this, there are Shows that are performed by the various artists from all the states, every hour. Its truly a carnival of ancient Indian Dance and Art,from the Puppet Show of Rajasthan to the Bhangra’s of the Punjab, the martial art from the northeast to the Khatak Kali of the South. All these and many more under one single roof. The best part is the roof is actually an artificial sky and it truly adds to the beauty of the gully.

The place is a heaven for all the food lovers, with an option of the cusines from 14 states and the best part the food is very tasty but also wont leave a big dent on your pocket.

The cultural Gully itself is so big that you need 4-5 hours to explore the place. But if you don’t have that much time, here is a list of the pavilions you should not miss.

1.The IIFA Bar(2nd Floor)2. Hyderbad Restaurant(Ground Floor)3.Kerala Pavillion (At the end of the Gully)4. Mumbai Pavillion

2. Nautanki Mahal

Nautanki Mahal of the Kingdom of Dream Gurgoan has 2 Big Live Shows that are one of its kind in the country.Zangoora and Jhumroo are the 2 Big  Live Shows in a big theatre that looks preety much the same as the Shows you see on the Award Functions in the televisions.

If you want to choose between the two shows,I would suggest going for the Zangoora, its typical bollywood show with bollywood songs,if you can spend 200-300 extra, you should definitely watch the show on Saturday and Sunday, because on these days the Tv stars(Hussain and Gohar Khan) perform as leads in the show, while the other days are equally amazing but if you have that extra few bucks and also a desire to see those stars live you should definitely visit on Saturdays and Sundays.Jhumroo is also good, but if you don’t like those beautiful songs of the great music maestro Kishore Kumar, this is not the show for you.The story of Jhumroo totally revolves around a boy who is love with a girl who likes Kishore Kumar songs. The place has Reverse Bunjee Jumping for all the adventure lovers, but it opens only on Saturday and Sundays.
