The quality management is an essential component of the statistical management.
International Context

Initiatives to establish Quality Assurance Frameworks
National Context

High Commission for Planning (HCP) is the core of the National Statistical System.
HCP has been engaged for several years in a process of modernization and alignment of its statistical system to international standards.
Current Status
In Morocco, improving the quality of official statistics is always considered:
Accession to the SDDS since 2005 Coformity with international standards Adoption of new classifications Gradual increase in the sample size of statistical surveys Consistency and validation checks of the data collected
Current Status
The treatment of non-response Methodologies reforms The development of metadata The commitment in the archiving surveys process The use of new technologies (CAPI,….) The development of a web portal The redesign of the Statistical Database,….
Current Status
Limits :
Absence of a defined quality assurance framework Deficiency in the training of human resources in this field Lack of detailed procedures Absence of a manual of procedures.
