TEAM ACADEMY’S UNIVERSAL TRUTHS

loveLove is at the root of why we do this work. Our passion for children drives us to do and be better. We love being a part of a TEAM, and together we commit to serving our students to the very best of our ability. We come together to celebrate student growth and achievement through weekly grade level community meetings, we provide individual and TEAM support through advisory, and have fun together at monthly family events. Students also participate in afterschool extracurricular activities including drumline, soccer, basketball, film club, student council, and much more.

learnAt its foundation, the academic program at TEAM Academy is based on two principles: rigor and differentiation. The curricula and schedule are designed to prepare students to be college-ready by the end of twelfth grade, while at the same time meeting each student at their individual level. TEAM also utilizes daily blended learning programs, guided and independent reading, small groups, and co-teaching in the majority of our classrooms to ensure that TEAMsters receive the differentiation and remediation needed to succeed and reach individual goals.

impactOur goal is for all students to live productive lives and positively contribute to their community. Results matter; this includes achievement data, the types of experiences we provide our students, and the people they become. TEAM Academy measures and closely follows student growth to ensure students are meeting academic bench marks. Our students also have the opportunities to broaden their perspectives through frequent instructional field lessons to National Parks, museums, Colleges and Universities in and out of state.
