As well as the Kimoiri Mansion Teshirogi Family Residence and the Gogashira Mansion Toshima Family residence, both of which are prefecturally-designated cultural properties, storehouses for grain, miso bean paste and sake and other residential storehouses have been relocated and preserved here in Kura-no-Sato. .In the warehouse of a draper of the Meiji era, local products fresh from the farm are on sale. Entry of guide dogs allowed. C 3
The first brick storehouse in Kitakata, built with the most lavish of materials. The second floor has a balcony, which was rare at that time. Ceilings, transoms, columns, low tables, and braziers are all made of streaked persimmon, and this room is open to the public. (National Tangible Cultural property)"
K 3Mitsuya is a small village in which every household has a brick storehouse. The rows of amber-colored storehouses provide an exotic atmosphere. Some are open to the public (entrance fee required). Wakana Family Residence (National Tangible Cultural property)
This displays a range of nostalgic trade items such as sales leaflets, calculating machines, and cash registers from Kitakata businesses in the middle of Japan's Showa period (1950s).
C 4A Kurazashiki built in the middle of the Meiji period and bidden by a wooden fence has been remodeled as a "shop of dreams," and this provides information about the city.
C 2Unseen in Japan, a temple in the form of a storehouse. Its distinctive windows, black roof, and white walls provide an attractive contrast.
